Today - nothing too exciting. Chores, errands and then class tonight.
Have a wonderful day!
Here's another layout I did during my scrapping spree this last week.
The birthday party yesterday was great fun - saw most of Chuck's family that I hadn't seen in a long time. And it was a great day to be outside enjoying the beautiful fall weather!
Today I will be at Kim's helping her with some last minute packing for her move to Oregon.
Happy scrappin'

The card - leaves are from Autumn Splendor (SU) - stamped and embossed with gold on chocolate. Background is chocolate with mustard accent.
Jeff & I are going to a 90th birthday celebration this afternoon - my late husband's brother-in-law. Amazing guy - still does more at 90 than I did at 50! It will be fun!
Have a wonderful weekend!
The card - this layout is one Dorene did with us at a recent Close to My Heart get together. I was trying to copy her card, but that didn't work out so well. ( I didn't have the same stuff) This is what I ended up with. Swirl stamp is from Papertrey. Give thanks is CTMH. Colors are durango, soft suede and kraft.
I am taking a 'fun day' today! Yea! Judy S and I are going to breakfast (a treat for me - I hardly ever go out for breakfast!) Then back here for some stamping fun! Then tonight dinner with Deb, Sherry and Kim and more stamping! Now, does that sound like a fun day or what? But I have to get in gear and get my room cleaned up - it's a bit of a mess from my 2-day scrapping spree.
Happy stampin'
Since I still have photos all over the table, I think I will try to get a few more pages done today.
Happy scrappin'

Sad to see the Rockies lost last night - darn! I don't follow baseball too much until the World Series, but was hoping the Rockies would make it this year!
Off to get things set up for class this morning, then a bit of a break before class again tonight. Busy day.
Happy stampin'

The card - background on panel is a script stamp then I just added some leaves in baja and chocolate. Pretty easy, but a bit of a different look.
The cards for class are done - cut and bagged and ready for class - Whew! Glad that job is done. I think I will try to get a bit of housework done today - I never finished the laundry last week - oops - and the crumbs need to be swept up off the kitchen floor, etc, etc. I do have Stamp Club tonight with Deb to look forward to though.

How 'bout those Broncos, huh? 5-0 - wow!

The card - image is from Paper Inspirations. I inked the stamp with markers - soft suede and artichoke. Printed paper is soft suede.
I should work on cards for class today, but I may have to take a break - the whole Christmas thing just isn't working for me. I did several cards yesterday, but don't really like any of them. I hate it when that happens! So I may just do some 'stamping for fun' today and hope that the Christmas mood strikes tomorrow.
Enjoy your day!

The card - more Autumn Splendor. These leaves were stamped with chocolate and bermuda on vanilla and then colored a bit with a blender pen and cut out. The chocolate leaf is popped up.

Have a wonderful day!
The card - stamped circles are from Circle Circus (SU) Colors are melon mambo, razzleberry and crushed curry.
Have to get the class area cleaned up for class tonight, plus cut and bag the kits. Need to clean up my stamp room too - I did get some stamping done yesterday so the table is rather a mess. Today - yard work - as soon as it warms up! Have to get the bushes trimmed today so they won't look all scraggly (is that a word?) all winter. Hopefully I'll have the energy to work on class projects this evening.
Have a great weekend!
The card - stamp is from SU - paper is from Basic Grey (Indian Summer) The pot is made by cutting off the bottom of the ornament punch from SU. I'm not crazy about this card, but couldn't figure out what it needed. It's one of those "oh well, it'll do" cards!
I got the project finished for tonight's class - now it's on to working on layouts for next weeks scrap classes. Guess that will be my job for today.
Enjoy your day!

The card - finally had some time on Saturday to play with my new Close To My Heart stamps! The flower image came from the stamp of the month and the sentiment from Thank You set. Colors are durango and chocolate.
Company for dinner tonight so I'm off to make noodles. Then I'm thinking I better get some more yard work done before the weather turns bad later this week.

I'm back! What a weekend. Too much fun! Now it's time to switch gears and return to real life - darn! That is sometimes a slow process for me, so today I think I will just be unpacking the suitcase and doing a little laundry. Class tonight.
Enjoy your day!
The card - I copied this from a card that Deb did with our Shoebox Club last week. (she posted hers on her blog, if you think it looks familiar) I changed a couple of minor things - didn't have the same flower punch she used so I used a different one. I added the swiss dots embossing to the black mat and used a different sentiment. I also had some black & white dotted paper that I used for the flower centers. The card is caramel, mat is black, top note die is vanilla, sponged with caramel. Not much different, really, but I didn't stamp mine well the night of club, so had to do a different one :) Thanks for the great idea Deb, I loved this card!
On our way home from California today. Wish this trip could have been longer! We arrive this afternoon (hopefully on time) and then I have a class to teach tonight!
Enjoy your day.

The card - this is the card I made for the wedding we are attending tonight. Saw this idea somewhere and thought it was just too cute. The blue is one of the colors in Nicole's wedding. The picture below is the inside. I made a holder for a gift card on the top and put the sentiment on the bottom (sorry the picture is kind of wacky)
The card - image is from Inkadinkado. I inked the image with markers - chocolate, rust, mustard and teal. Happy Birthday is from My Sentiments Exactly. Pattern paper is from SU.
Today - "Leaving on a Jet Plane......................." That was me singing (if you're old enough to remember that song!) Believe me, better for you that you can't really hear me singing. We will be on our way to California (Newport Beach) tonight. My cousin Ron's daughter is getting married, so we are just going for the weekend to attend the wedding. It will be a short trip, coming back Monday. But it will be fun! Tracy is meeting us (Jeff, Sara & I) at LAX, so not only will I be attending a fun wedding (it's a Harbor Cruise), but I get to spend time with both my kids - yea!
So, just a few things to finish up today - water the lawn, pay some bills and pack my suitcase. We don't leave until 9:30 tonight so I have all day to get my act together.
Have a wonderful day

We had a great Close To My Heart party with Dorene last night! Thanks Dorene! I can hardly wait for all my new stamps to get here so I can play with them.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend.
The card - stamps are from Autumn Days & Celebrate Everything (both are SU) - colors are kraft and soft suede.
I slept in this morning - that doesn't happen often! But I didn't sleep well - must have been the Cold Stone Creamery ice cream we had last night! (very yummy though!) Now I'm going to try and work up the energy to get a little yard work done this morning.
Have a great weekend!

A little bit of fall today. The stamped leaves are from Autumn Days (SU) I inked them with dusty durango and then used a tiny sponge to add a bit of chocolate to the edges. Squares are punched from more mustard, dusty durango and soft suede and added to a kraft mat. Card is also kraft. The square with thank you, the squares with leaves and the squares on the row with the ribbon are popped up. (Squares are 1 1/4".)
I am meeting friends for breakfast this morning, then I will do a few errands. Class tonight.
Have a wonderful Labor Day!
The card - stamped image is from Herb Expressions (SU). Colors are chocolate and baja.
I have a fairly 'free' day today and not sure what I'm going to do. I am either going to do some errands or spend the day working on card class projects for next week - or maybe a combination of both.
Enjoy your day!
I just can hardly wrap my mind around the fact that is the first of September. Holy Cow! What happened to summer? I love fall - the colors, the weather (usually), but I'm not ready for summer to be over. Time is going by much too fast!
Today I will finish up some chores that I started yesterday and then get ready for class tonight. I still need to get kits cut and bagged (I got a little sidetracked from that yesterday).
Have a wonderful day!
