The card - this is the card I did for our Shoebox Club last week. The stamped images are from SU. The window is die cut and popped up. I added some ink to the brick embossing folder before embossing the panel.
Not sure what I'm doing today. Have so many things to do that I can't decide where to start - oooh, sometimes that doesn't make for a very productive day. Oh well....... I am looking forward to Friday night crafting though.
Have a great day!

The card - a super simple one today. The leaves are a Tim Holtz die cut. I smooshed them up a bit and sponged a bit of here and there. The leaves are popped up along with the sentiment.
And I'm off to do some errands today. I will have to get the work room cleaned up and ready for class tonight too. I got a lot of stamping done the last three days, but I feel like a hermit - I need to get out and move around today!
Have a wonderful day!

The card - butterfly is from Hero Arts. I stamped it with black on mint card stock, then added a bit more color with a mint marker. I stamped some grunge on the white panel and added a bit of tan ink to the brick embossing folder before embossing. The black strip is washi tape.
I think I will do a little more stamping today while the mess is still on the table. I'm on a roll, so might as well stick with it!

The card - just a bit of fun. The cupcake is from SU. The lines on the square are drawn on with a marker after the sprinkles are stamped at the bottom. The cupcake is popped up.
I had a very productive stamping day yesterday. Now I'm trying to decide if I want to continue and do some more stamping or switch it up and get some stitching stuff together today. Hmm.....guess I'll decide after I take a shower and am ready to proceed with the day :)
Have a terrific day!

The card - flower is from SU - stamped in black, colored with markers. The strip down the side is patterned paper. I added a strip of SU's new ribbon to the bottom (not sure why it looks so blurry). Colors are taupe, white and black.
A fairly easy week coming up so I'm going to try and get lots of stamping and stitching done and maybe some yard work and some household chores too!
Have a great day!

It's time for some Bronco football! My friend Shelley and her boys brought me these shoes a while back - aren't they just the best? Too cool!
I won't get to watch the entire game today - it's also Black Sheep Sunday - that means breakfast with Eileen and Deb and then an afternoon of stitching! But I'll catch the end of the game when I get home.
Have a wonderful day!
GO BRONCOS!

It's been a fairly busy week, but today I have a bit of a break. I was trying to think of something fun and exciting to do, but somehow I haven't come up with anything. Maybe I'll just try to get some stamping done :)
Have a great day!

The card - not much stamping - just some punched clouds (from fiskars), a balloon (Martha Stewart), an embossing border and some string and a simple sentiment. How easy is that?
I really need to get to work on class projects plus do a couple of errands and finish the laundry. Looking forward to Friday night crafting tonight!
Have a terrific day!

The card - a simple flip flop/summer card. The flip flops are from Papertrey Ink, cut out and popped up. The square is just a fun piece of patterned paper I found in my stash.
I got totally sidetracked yesterday - but maybe today I can get some stamping done - or some stitching - or not! I seem to be totally unmotivated - hmmm. I am looking forward to Friday night crafting though.
Have a wonderful day!
Thursday, August 27, 2015
The card - a bit of fun! I stamped the images on the panel BEFORE I embossed it. I rubbed a bit of ink on the inside of the embossing folder to make the 'bricks' stand out a bit more.
It's a bit dreary out this morning - we're finally getting some rain, which has cooled things off , but I'm not fond of dreary. Good day for stamping I guess - and I need to get some done, so that may be my plan for the day. (can you tell I didn't really have a plan for today!)
Have a great day!
Thanks for all the encouraging comments. I had a nice long phone visit with my daughter yesterday - she is home now and feeling better. I will be going to stay with her in October while her husband is gone to see his parents. And Jeff and Sara were here for dinner last night - lots of talk about the coming baby which is fun. All is well!!!!!
Wednesday, August 26, 2015
The card - flower is from SU. I stamped the flower with black, colored it with copics, cut it out and popped it up on the script background piece. Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
OK, I've officially lost it. If you noticed that there was no post yesterday.......I forgot to post! Yes, I had internet, I just forgot. Now, I have to say, that has never happened before. Too many things to think about I guess.
I do have some really fun, good news - I'm going to be a Grandmother...first time...yay! I'm so excited. My son Jeff and his wife Sara are having a baby in March.
The news on my daughter is not so good, however. Tracy has been dealing with 'warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia' for over a year now. They were going to schedule her for surgery to have her spleen removed in the near future. However, when she went in for her regular appointment on Monday, they found she had blood clots on her lungs. She is in the hospital for a few days, but should be released in the next day or so. She will be taking blood thinners, which means the surgery will likely be postponed for several months. I can only imagine how frustrating this is for Tracy and as a mother it is hard to know my child is suffering. I have the best son-in-law in the world, however. Tony has been marvelous and I am so grateful that Tracy has such a loving person there for her!
Enough.......just wanted to fill you in on what is happening in my world. (now you can see why I might have forgotten one little post :)
Have a great day!
