Catch up time - our friend Sherry is coming for a visit this weekend and we're going to be celebrating Christmas and Deb & Emily's birthdays.  Guess who hasn't finished gifts?  Yep, I'm way behind.  Need to work on that today - I'm running out of time.  Have to get ready for class tonight too.

Movie review - went to see 'Hidden Figures' yesterday - great movie!  For local people - if you haven't been to the new theater you need to go - the recliner chairs are awesome!

Tonight is our Shoebox Club and we're celebrating a couple of birthdays tonight....so, I don't have to worry about cards, but I do need to get my house in order and cook dinner!  It will be a fun evening!

The card - I always like black and white with a bit of color.  This is my favorite card from February.

Wow - it's a mess outside.  I'm glad we postponed  this morning's class.  No sense in driving if you don't have to.  There's not much traffic, but what cars go by I can hear the ice crunching under their tires.  Yuk!  Stay safe people!

I'm hoping to get caught up on a few things since I'm not leaving the house and I have some unexpected free time today.

The card - a couple years ago I posted some of my favorite cards that I had done throughout the year.  Since I haven't had time to get much stamping done, that's what I'm going to do for the next few days.  This card was one of my favorites from January.  I copied it from a calendar topper that my friend Judy S did.

The card - sorry, couldn't find a name on this one so I don't know who made it....   This should be the last of the cards from my friend Emily's swap.  All of these cards the last two weeks have been from Stampin Up demonstrators, so all the products used are from Stampin Up!

More snow...yuk!  And it's only 4 degrees out there - even more yuk!  But I need to go out and shovel before Hudson gets here so.....

Shoveling snow was NOT on my list of thing to do today.  But, it looks like that's what I'll be doing sometime soon - although it's still snowing, so I guess it will wait for a while.

I hope everyone had a great holiday.  I couldn't have asked for a better one - 2017 is off to a terrific start!  But, now it's back to daily life and I have a lot I want to get done this week.  But, today is a 'Grandma day' so I will just enjoy the time with Hudson and hopefully make a plan for getting things done the rest of the week!
