Photo Saturday - Hudson's first Christmas (Christmas Eve jammies)

Off to the grocery store this morning and then home to get the house cleaned up a bit.  Overnight 'Grandma time' tonight while the kids go to a New Year's Eve party.  Woo hoo!

Have a great day!

'Grandma time' today and then Friday night crafting.  Sounds like a good day to me!

A little movie review - went to see 'LaLa Land' yesterday - ugh!  Not worth the time or money.  (but, we had a great time going to breakfast and wandering up and down Main Street so it was a terrific day)

Enjoy your day!

Play day today!  My friend Eileen and I are going to breakfast and then we'll decide what we're going to do - probably a little wandering around Main Street and who knows what else :)

Have a great day!

The card - today's card is by Carol Payne

Off to do some errands this morning.  Then I hope to finish cleaning up the Christmas decorations - I got them all taken down, but now they are kind of piled in the garage and need to be put away.  But, the most important part of the day - a little extra 'Grandma time' this evening while Jeff & Sara go out to dinner for Sara's birthday!  Yay!

Have a great day!

The card - today's card was made by Janace Charbonneau.

Time to start taking down the Christmas decorations and putting up a few winter things.  (although, truth be told I wish I was putting up spring decorations! I am so not a winter person :)

Have a wonderful day!

The card - disclaimer:  the cards you will see in the next few days are not ones I have made!  I ran out of cards and haven't had a chance to do any stamping, so.....my dear friend Emily loaned me some cards that she got in a swap.  So, these cards are from some very talented Stampin Up demonstrators.  All the products used on these cards will be from Stampin Up!  Thank you Emily and to the talented stampers in your swap!  (this card was done by Mary Waring)

I hope you all had a marvelous Christmas.  I had a GREAT day!  It would have been nice if the Broncos had actually won their game last night, but what the heck - it was still a great day!  Hudson was a pure joy and made quite the haul on gifts!  This Grandma went a little overboard, but again, what the heck - that's what Grandma's are for, right?  So, today is a bonus with a little more 'Grandma time'.  No other plans.

Have a wonderful day!

Photo Saturday - this kid cracks me up!

A few errands this morning then I need to bake a few more batches of peanut brittle and wrap some gifts.  Going out to dinner tonight and then (if Hudson is doing ok) we'll drive around to look at lights.

Hope you all are having a terrific Christmas Eve!

The card - a die cut snowflake and die cut joy on top of an embossed background - now that is easy peasy!  (the colors didn't scan well, the gray parts are actually silver so it's much prettier in real life :)

And it looks like it's going to be a white Christmas..... however, it's cold and now I have to go out and shovel snow this morning before Hudson gets here.  Ick!

Have a great day!

The card - ornaments were made using a punch and some patterned paper.  The one on the left is popped up.  The small panel is also popped up.

Need to get myself organized today.  I think I have my shopping done, but I really need to get things sorted and wrapped just to make sure.  Hopefully there will be time for a couple of errands too!

Have a terrific day!

The card - printed paper, a holly die cut, some string and a little bling - pretty darn easy!

Off on an adventure today - time to take a break!  Judy S and I are going to Delta for lunch.  We'll try to stay out of trouble, but it's Christmas time, so you just never know!

Have a great day!

The card - I loved the colors in this line of winter paper so I decided to use it for a Christmas card.  Not much stamping, just an embossed background with a punched snowflake and some added bling.

Off to hopefully finish up my shopping today - and a trip to the post office.

Have a great day!

Monday, December 19, 2016

The card - an embossed background, some printed paper and a die cut - no stamping on this one!  The embossed background and the small musical panel are sponged with kraft.  The small panel and the die cut joy are popped up.

'Grandma time' today.  No other plans for today.

Have a wonderful day!

Project Sunday - a pillow I made for Hi Fashion to use as a sample.

Lots to get done today - making peanut brittle, sewing some gifts, and I probably should try and get some laundry done.

Have a great day!

Photo Saturday - aww....here is the 'light of my life'.  I spent a good deal of time yesterday trying so hard to get a good enough picture of Hudson to use in my Christmas letter - hahaha - the kid doesn't sit still long enough to get a good photo.  I took over a hundred photos (thank goodness for digital!) and this is one of the very few half way decent ones.

So, maybe I can try again today - I get some extra 'Grandma time' this afternoon because Jeff & Sara want to go see the new Star Wars movie.  Yay for me!  This morning I'm going to be at Hi Fashion for a little stitching time, but first I have to find something to stitch!

Have a great day!

Oh no - I'm out of cards!  Not sure how that happened, but I haven't had time lately to get any stamping done.  So, for today, here is my Christmas tree.   I usually do some woodsy trees with no ornaments, but for some reason I was in the mood to do the regular tree with ornaments this year.  It was a little teary at some points putting it up because a lot of the ornaments are reminders of times past when my husband and Tracy were still with us.  But....among the tears were lots of good memories of special times.  I'm glad I put it up this year!

Today is 'Grandma time' and then Friday night crafting.  It's going to be a good day!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - (sorry for the bad picture, I just couldn't get it any better this morning!)  The flowers are from SU - stamped and punched and popped up.  The strips in the center are punched with a tag punch (also from SU) .

Awww.....a free day.  I think I better figure out what I'm doing for the rest of the Christmas gifts that need to be done.  Hmmm....

Have a terrific day!

Wednesday, December 14, 2016

The card - 2 layers of embossed snow...on the top layer I stamped and colored the snowmen and sentiment before I embossed the panel.  The top panel is popped up.

I'm hosting one more Christmas party tonight - that means getting my messy house cleaned up a bit and doing a food dish.  We all contribute to the food at this one, so not much work for me.  I also have to finish up a couple of Christmas gifts today!

Have a great day!

Tuesday, December 13, 2016

The card - stamped images are from SU.  The white panel has an added piece of ribbon (the bow got a little smashed in the scanner:)  and is popped up.

Off to do some shopping this morning and then on to an afternoon of stitching at Hi Fashion.  A full day!

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, December 12, 2016

The card - another easy one - I stamped the tree and sentiment before I embossed the panel, then added some ribbon.  Can't get much easier than that!

Must have had a senior moment yesterday - completely forgot to post here on the blog.  Hmmm....not a good sign!  But, we had Black Sheep yesterday - it was the Christmas party and was a very good day.

Today is 'Grandma time' and probably not much else.  I do have to get myself organized and figure out what needs to be done in the next couple of weeks - I'm running out of time!

Have a great day!
