'Grandma time' today.  Tonight we're trying something new - going to dinner and then to The Craft Studio for movie night and knitting (or stitching) It will be fun to try something different for a change.

The card - a pretty easy and simple one.  The sentiment is stamped before the background panel is embossed.  The small square panel has the corners rounded and is popped up.

No idea what the heck I'm doing today.  I'm sure I can figure out something, but it's not always a good thing when I don't have a plan.  Hopefully I will be productive :)

The card - flowers are from SU.  I die cut an oval on the white panel.  The flowers are stamped on a piece of white that is underneath the cut out.  I added a strip of black patterned paper the the left side and the top panel is then popped up.  

So many chores to get done today.  I have a list a mile long.  Lots of stuff to organize so I need to stay focused.

Oops - I just noticed I didn't post yesterday.  Good grief.  Sara brought Hudson a little early and I guess I just totally spaced it out!  Sorry 'bout that.  We went and tried out our new hamburger joint last night - Freddies - oh yum!  Love that place.  It's exciting that we not only have one, but the second one will be opening soon also!  Yay!   Looking forward to a few hours of stitching at Hi Fashion today!

The card - a fun background technique.  I used a clear stamping block and scribbled on the top of it with different colors of markers.  Then I sprayed a bit of water on it and then stamped.  Kind of a cool effect!  I stamped the sentiment on the top in black.

Off to Hi Fashion this morning for some stitching time.  A trip to the grocery store on the way home and then dinner out with a friend.  Sounds like a good day to me!

I really need to get some stuff accomplished today.  Didn't get much done yesterday, but went out with a friend for lunch and then came home and had a nice nap - :)   It was a good day, but not very productive!

Photo Saturday - the birthday boy!  Can hardly believe he turned 1 last Sunday.  But what an awesome weekend we had!  It was so nice to have my cousins here from California to celebrate with us.  

A free day today!  Don't have a clue what I'm going to do.  I probably should do a few errands and I really need to regroup and get ready for next week.  Or I could take a nap!  We'll see.

"Grandma time' today.  I hope the weather continues to be nice - I'm planning on taking Hudson downtown today for a walk a Main Street.  He loves to ride in his stroller and he loves to be outside.  Win, win!  Class tonight.

I'm Back!!!!!   Whew!  What a fun weekend.  Can't hardly believe Hudson is a year old.  The time is going by so fast!  But we celebrated for the entire weekend and had so much fun. The company left yesterday so now it's time to get back to real life.  Finishing the laundry and some house cleaning are in order today!

Some extra'Grandma time' today.  The babysitter is under the weather and needs to go to the Dr. so I will have a helper (haha!) today.  Just a few extra chores to get done this morning and then a trip to the grocery store.  My company will be arriving mid afternoon and then the fun will begin!
