The card - the background is embossed with a brick pattern (Tim Holtz).  After embossing I sponged it with some kraft.  I stamped the flowers on the smaller panel (which is also sponged and popped up).  The milk can is stamped on a piece of white, colored with copics and then cut out and popped up.

Looking forward to a little r & r today.  Judy and I are going to breakfast, then a little shopping (or window shopping in my case) and then to a movie.   Then Friday night crafting tonight. It's going to be a great day!

Enjoy YOUR day!

The card - sorry, not a great scan.  (Couldn't get rid of the shadows.)  A simple card - just 4 squares popped up in the center with some cut out leaves on top.

Got totally side tracked yesterday and forgot to post.....and didn't get much done either.  But, I did spend a nice relaxing afternoon stitching at Laura's new workshop space.  Today, I really need to get the utility room cleaned up....seasonal clothes all over the place, can't even walk in there.  That's my goal for the day!

Have a great day!

The card - the left side of the background panel is a seperate piece that is embossed and then attached to the panel.  The leaves are punched, scrunched up and then sponged.  Some added twine, bling and a sentiment.

A  day with no child....oh my - I think I might get lonely.  However, I do have a ton of things I want to get done in the next few days, so I should get started!

Have a terrific day!

More'Grandma time' today.  (an overnighter too!)  It's supposed to be much nicer today with sunshine, so I'm planning a trip to Moon Farm (another pumpkin patch).

The card - just some pretty patterned paper, twine, bling and sentiment from Cas-ual Fridays Stamps.  Super simple.

An unexpected day off from babysitting today - daughter-in-law has the day off so now I'm free for the day.  Hmmmm.....know there is lots I need to do, but my brain hasn't caught up with the idea of having some free time.  Better figure out the best way not to waste the day!

Have a great day!

The card - a tree stamp, some wood printed paper and some wood grain embossed paper.  How easy is that!

'Grandma time'.  I know (I do, I really do) that we needed rain.  But, could we just have a break from it for a day or two?  Missing the sunshine and being able to spend a little time outdoors.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - pitcher and flower are from SU,  sentiment is from Verve.  Patterned paper for the background and an added piece of embossed cardstock.

Posting may be a little hit and miss for the next couple of weeks.  The regular babysitter is out of town, so I have 'Grandma time' every day.  Love it, but not much time or energy for other things.  Posting is not usually an issue, but finding time to stamp is a different story :)  I'll try my best, but this is just a head's up.

Have a great day!

The card - a little grunge, some patterned paper, a sentiment and a scrunched up, sponged leaf with some twine.  Can't get much easier than that.

Back home, it was a short trip (much too short!).  But it was good to get away for even a couple of days and Sherry was such a gracious hostess.  Have some new stamps, some new wool and patterns and some fun yarn for a couple of projects.  All is good!

Back to the regularly scheduled program.....'Grandma time' today, Friday night crafting tonight.

Have a wonderful day!

Wednesday, September 26, 2018

The card - just some random leaves in a variety of colors.  Leaves are from SU.

Enjoying my time away from home :)  The drive over the mountains was beautiful ....love those fall colors.  Had time to do a bit of shopping when I got here (new stamps - yay!) and then had Five Guys for dinner, oh so yummy!  Then  Sherry took me to a yarn shop for some work time....I got a bit of knitting done, but was more entralled watching the ladies spin yarn, do needle punch and rug hooking.

Off to my Thirty-One meeting this morning and then I will go visit the wool shop, meet Sherry after work for some more shopping and then dinner.  Life is Good!

Enjoy your day!

Tuesday, September 25, 2018

The card - I punched a circle and then used that piece to sponge the circle.  The flowers (from Unity) are stamped in black over the top.

Off to the eastern slope today to visit my friend Sherry and to attend a Thirty-One meeting tomorrow.  So looking forward to cranking up the music and seeing the fall colors.  It's been soooo long since I've been out of town that even this short little road trip is going to be awesome!

Have a great day!
