A free day.  I got the yard work done last night, so I really do have a free day.  Planning a short trip to the Farmer's Market up the street (have to restock peaches) and that's about it.  So, maybe some stamping.  Definitely some napping!

The card - background is embossed.  Circles in the background are die cut from patterned paper.  Leafy stems are stamped, die cut and popped up.  Sentiment piece is stamped, die cut and popped up.  I punched holes in each end to put the ribbon through.

'Grandma time' with Hudson today.  Ended up with both boys yesterday.  Not sure what we're doing, but I'm sure Hudson will think of something :)

A bit more 'Grandma time' - Ethan is well enough to go back to day care, but Hudson still is feeling poorly.  So, Hudson will have some 'Grandma time' today and tomorrow.

More 'Grandma time' today.  Ethan was a bit better by yesterday afternoon but both Hudson and Sara are still under the weather.  Jeff and I are hoping we don't catch whatever it is.  (Hudson and Sara did get Covid tests, still waiting on the results).  Poor Hudson is missing his last few days of Summer Camp :(

The card - strip of patterned paper on the left side of the background panel.  Then a  strip of embossed card stock with a small strip of dark color on each side.  The leaf stem is stamped with versamark and heat embossed with white.  The sentiment piece is also heat embossed with white and then punched out with layering circles.

Not sure what is happening today.  Ethan was running a temp all day yesterday and then turned out Hudson went home early from summer camp with the same symptoms.  So, unless they had a miraculous recovery last night I will more than likely have Ethan again today.  Poor kids.

'Grandma day' with Hudson.  Our plan is to beat the heat and drive up to Grand Mesa today.  Should be a lot cooler up there.  Looking forward to seeing some beautiful scenery and hopefully lots of wild flowers!

Lots of odds and ends to get done today.  Cleaning up the mess I made in the stamp room yesterday would be a good start :)  Then I need to do some laundry, a couple of errands, get a package ready to mail.  Yep, odds and ends.  But, Hudson is spending the night - yay! - and we'll figure out something fun to do tomorrow for his 'Grandma day'.  So good stuff to look forward to!

Photo Sunday - Hudson & Ethan at the Dinosaur Museum

Our friend Eileen joined us yesterday afternoon for a trip to the Dinosaur Museum and then dinner at our favorite local hamburger place - Munchies!  Today we're just hanging out til Jeff picks up the boys.

Some extra 'Grandma time' today.  Ethan is coming over while Jeff & Hudson go to the Monster Truck Show.  Then Hudson will join us for an overnight so Mom and Dad can go on a 'date night'.   It's all good!

The card - I stamped a script stamp in the background, then some colored splotches and then the butterflies.  I added a sentiment at the bottom and then after all the stamping was done I embossed the entire panel.

Off to breakfast and a movie with my friend Judy this morning.  (a delayed birthday celebration).  Finally!  I've had to cancel our plans a couple of times because of having Ethan - but, today is the day!  Yay!
