The card - background is patterned paper.  Sentiment is stamped in black dirctly on the background piece.  Butterfly is die cut  and popped up.  Easy peasy!

A free day and no plan - oh my.  I could either get really motivated and be extremely productive or I could spend the day on the sofa watching TV  and maybe do some knitting.  Oh,  decisions, decisions!!!!

Have a great day!

The card - flowers (SU) are stamped in black across the panel.  I used the small grunge stamp from the set to stamp below the flowers.  The circle is a die cut (SU).  I stamped the flower on a smaller circle and added that to the center of the die cut. I added some twine and then popped the circle up.

Class tonight - it will be so good to see them again!  It's been too long.

Have a great day!

The card -- a new die cut (from Memory Box).  I used the die on the top white panel and added a piece of black behind it!  The flower (SU) is punched out twice, songed with a bit of gray in the center and layered together and then popped up.  Easy peasy!

Need to spend the day getting card kits ready for class!  After two months of not having classes, it's hard to get back in the groove.  But, I am so anxious to see everyone - I've missed them!  Looking foward to an evening of stitching with friends tonight!

Enjoy your day!

The card - The two outside panels are embossed.  Small rectangle is sponged, then images are stamped with black.

Today is my son's birthday.  Sooo, that means dinner tonight.  That means a bit of cooking and cleaning today!  And a haircut - finally!

Have a great day!

Lots of chores to get done today so I better get started!

The card - label die cut is from SU.  Flowers are stamped with the same color ink as the card stock and then punched out and popped up. There's actually some flowers stamped very lightly in the corners, they just didn't show up in the scan :(

A fairly free day today.  I'm still trying to figure out stuff on this new computer and haven't had much time to deal with it.  So, maybe today!

Enjoy your day!

The card - background is patterned paper.  The white piece is cut at an angle and then the die cut (SU) is added on top.  The small colored flowers are added  to the top of the die cut and then some added bling.  A bit of grunge is stamped on the white piece before adding the sentiment.

Chores today - a bit of everything that I've just been avoiding doing!  But I am soooo looking forward to a couple of friends coming over for dinner and stitching later - woo hoo!  It's been way too long!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - using some images from SU's digital
download.  I sponged the background a bit and then cut out the images and attached them to the panel.  (the line at the top of both sayings are just shadows from the scan)

Hope you all had a nice weekend.  I spent most of the weekend with Hudson which was nice.  Jeff bbq'd steaks on Friday night and we had a nice evening outside.  On Saturday a friend came over to stamp and it was so exciting to have an 'almost normal' day!  We went to a local hamburger place for lunch and got to eat inside and everything.  Oh, it was heaven - I do miss eating out!!!  Hudson spent the day yesterday and then we had a sleepover so we'll have today together too!  It's been a great weekend!!!  No exciting plans for today, except I think we'll try to go get Hudson a haircut - it is really getting a bit shaggy!

Have a great day!

The card - all three background panels are die cut (SU)  The sentiment and corner piece are stamped on on the smaller panel and that panel is popped up.  An easy one!

Grocery shopping today. That's about it!  So, maybe some stitching today - need to finish up a birthday gift!

Have a great day!

The card - all the background pieces are patterned paper.  I stamped the tower (SU) in black directly on the patterned paper and then added the 'merci' die cut (SU) on top.  Easy peasy!

I managed to get a bit of stuff done yesterday!  (not a lot, but a bit)  After having Hudson here everyday for a month, it's really quiet! I'm having a hard time getting back into a routine.  I have almost run out of stuff to organize and/or clean.

How are you all managing this craziness?  Has your life changed?    What do you miss the most?

Enjoy your day!

The card - white panel is die cut (SU).  The stamped images are heat embossed with gold which doesn't  really show up in the scan, but is really pretty in real life.  The butterfly is punched out and popped up.

Well, yesterday turned into a real do-nothing day!  Went for two walks, took a nap, read a book and that was about it!  Guess I needed a day off :)  I do have plans to get some things accomplished today - hopefully that will work out better than it did yesterday!!!!

Enjoy your day!

The card - the flower on the left (SU) is stamped directly on the background piece.  It is stamped in black and then a bit of grunge is added.  The black circle is a die cut (SU).  There is a bit of grunge behind the circle also.  The leaves are punched out and popped up.  The larger flower (SU) is stamped with black, then the filler stamp with your choice of color.  The sentiment is stamped on a seperate piece of white, punched out with a circle and added to the top of the black die.

Well, Hudson has gone back to preschool.  The house is very quiet this morning.  Now I will be back to the regular schedule of Mondays and a day or two on the weekend.  So, I should be able to get some things done now, right?   I really haven't been able to get much crafting done while he's been here, so that is my goal for now!  Stitching, knitting and stamping!   I just need a bit of motivation :)

Have a great day!

Monday, May 4, 2020

The card - front panel is die cut at the bottom edge (SU)  Ad added sentiment, some bling and ribbon.  Easy peasy!

Time to mow the lawn and clean up the yard.  The wind has blown tree stuff all over everywhere.  So, it's a yard work day!

Have a great day!

Crafty Sunday - One of my Little Red Wagon pillows.  This was a Block of the Month last year - it was orginally meant to be part of a quilt, but I decided to make my squares into pillows instead.  So, I have a different seasonal pillow each month for my sofa!

Hudson and I are baking today.  I have been promising him we would make a carrot cake (one of my favorites) for a long time.  I finally managed to collect all the ingredients at the store yesterday, so today we are making cake!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Photo Saturday - Canyon View Park

Yesterday was a beautiful day to be outside so Hudson and I went out to Canyon View Park.  The ducks were all sleeping and not much interested in our offerings of food - poor Hudson couldn't figure out why they didn't want to eat.  But we enjoyed the walk around the lakes anyway!

No child today, so I'm making a trip to the grocery store this morning and then doing a bit of clean up in the house.  Hoping to get some wool applique projects put together and ready to stitch!

Enjoy your weekend!

The card - this was one of my favorite cards and it didn't scan well at all!  :(   The background is embossed with SU's subtle folder.  The rectangles are the stitched rectangles from SU.  I stamped the flowers in black and colored them with copics.  A little added twine and a sentiment.

I'm running out of things to clean LOL!!!  Never thought I'd say that!  Took down all the window blinds yesterday and hosed them off outside and then hung them back up.  I still need to wash the windows, but I have to work up to that one!!!  Not sure what we'll do today.

Have a great day!
