The card - flowers are from SU.  I die cut an oval on the white panel.  The flowers are stamped on a piece of white that is underneath the cut out.  I added a strip of black patterned paper the the left side and the top panel is then popped up.  

So many chores to get done today.  I have a list a mile long.  Lots of stuff to organize so I need to stay focused.

Oops - I just noticed I didn't post yesterday.  Good grief.  Sara brought Hudson a little early and I guess I just totally spaced it out!  Sorry 'bout that.  We went and tried out our new hamburger joint last night - Freddies - oh yum!  Love that place.  It's exciting that we not only have one, but the second one will be opening soon also!  Yay!   Looking forward to a few hours of stitching at Hi Fashion today!

The card - a fun background technique.  I used a clear stamping block and scribbled on the top of it with different colors of markers.  Then I sprayed a bit of water on it and then stamped.  Kind of a cool effect!  I stamped the sentiment on the top in black.

Off to Hi Fashion this morning for some stitching time.  A trip to the grocery store on the way home and then dinner out with a friend.  Sounds like a good day to me!

I really need to get some stuff accomplished today.  Didn't get much done yesterday, but went out with a friend for lunch and then came home and had a nice nap - :)   It was a good day, but not very productive!

I'm Back!!!!!   Whew!  What a fun weekend.  Can't hardly believe Hudson is a year old.  The time is going by so fast!  But we celebrated for the entire weekend and had so much fun. The company left yesterday so now it's time to get back to real life.  Finishing the laundry and some house cleaning are in order today!

Project Sunday - the December mat from Black Sheep - all twelve months are done - woo hoo!

I can hardly wait to show you the table runner Emily helped me with yesterday - totally out of my box.  I still have to finish pinning it and then quilt it and put the binding on - again, totally out of my box!  But it's going to be cool!  It was hard work though, I was exhausted last night.  But THANK YOU Emily for spending the day helping me sew!

Today I really need to get some stamping done.  I just need to get myself motivated - maybe some more caffeine will help :)

Well, I didn't get any stamping done yesterday.  I got totally sidetracked - my computer has been acting funny so I spent the entire day trying to get the computer files and photo files all organized and backed up just in case the whole thing decides to crash.  Nice to have it done, but I sure am glad I don't have a job where I have to sit at a computer all day!  Today I really need to get some household chores done - time to do somethings about at least part of the dust bunnies.  Stamping will have to wait for a few more days.  Also will need to get ready for class tonight.
