Old stamps - new colors. This is a very old stamp from Stampendous that I found in my "leaf drawer". Thought I'd give it a try. Not bad. Used new SU colors Tangerine and Kiwi and good ol' chocolate. The background stamp I used on the green is another "old one" from River City Rubber Works.
Judy S and I are traveling to Delta/Montrose today. Should be fun.

Deb came over yesterday and we spent a very productive afternoon stamping. I got quite a few cards done - yea!
I have classes starting next week that I don't even have the projects done for, so guess what I will be doing this week.

Just a few layers on this one. Verve stamp set - scallop rectangle is made with Nestabilities - Soft Sky, Baha Breeze and Chocolate - swiss dots embossing folder.
Deb is coming over to stamp this afternoon and I'm hoping to get some fall cards done. Have a lot of new Close To My Heart stamps to play with.

I love fall! Love the colors, love the weather. 
This is a layout I did with pictures I took last winter of Dewey Bridge. Down in the bottom right corner I used a picture I got from the web and did a little update about the fire that destroyed the bridge after these pictures were taken.
I had good intentions of getting yard work done yesterday, but somehow that never happened. I got started on a birthday present I needed to get done and it ended up taking most of the day. But, the birthday present is done and I just need to get it mailed today. Yea!

Since I have a class tonight I guess I need to get back to sorting the paper that is still all over the tables downstairs. Sort of left that project unfinished. Oops! Looks like that will be my project for the day.

Enjoyed my day of fun yesterday - it was made even better since the Broncos won, but my goodness that was tense. I was worn out by the end of the game.
Lots to do this week and I'm trying to figure out where to start today. Laundry, more yard work, paper work, etc. Gee, nothing fun in there, so it's going to be a hard decision.

The yard work did me in yesterday - boy am I stiff and sore this morning. Guess I over did it a bit. Oh well, I'm taking a break today - my inlaws are coming over for lunch and then we will watch the Bronco game. Yea! It's actually the first game I will be able to watch so I'm looking foward to it.

Back to my paper mess today. Can't leave it all over the tables forever so I will see what I can do with it today. Sherry is coming over tonight so I will be able to take a break and get some more fun stamping time.

More Verve flowers. Not my usual color combo either, but I'm trying my best to get out of my rut.
Worked on sorting paper yesterday - oh my, what a job. I have paper everywhere. I know I want to put seasonal stuff together, but how the heck do you sort the rest? Do I store it by company? by color? This job is going to take me awhile - good thing I don't have another class for a few days - the tables are covered with paper - and more paper.
I'm hoping Judy S is coming to stamp this afternoon so I can forget about the paper mess for awhile and do something fun.

Leslie is coming today to make up a class project - while she is working on that I'm hoping to get some paper sorted. I have a ton of stuff I've bought at different stores and it's all just piled in drawers. So, I figure if I get it sorted I might know what I have and be able to use it! What a concept.

A scrapbook page today. I'm trying to use up some of my paper stash (and there is a LOT of it) I think this is some Christmas paper I bought when Kim and I were in Las Vegas a year ago.
Have to finish up my project for Shoebox Club tonight, water the lawn and do a couple of errands. Not a very exciting day, but club tonight will be fun - it always is!

A very simple scrapbook page. (I use that word simple a lot, don't I?) But......that seems to be my thing so I just go with it.
I must, I must, I must! get something done today. Yesterday was another day spent staring at a pile of paper and not knowing what to do with it. I'm thinking I shall leave that project and move on to something else for awhile.

A photo day. This is sunrise yesterday morning. (that's Mount Garfield at the bottom of the picture) I have tons of sunset pictures but this is one of the few sunrise photos that I managed to catch at just the right time.
Had thought of doing yard work today but I guess that was just a fleeting thought as it rained again last night and it's too wet to be digging around outside this morning. Guess I will try to get some work done on a class project. I sort of slacked off yesterday and didn't get much done, so maybe I will make up for it today.

Slept in a bit this morning. That doesn't happen too often - but we were up long after my bedtime last night. I didn't get tons done, but I finished the pictures from 2006. Woo hoo - another year is finished. I'm hoping to get the title page done today, and then I will have another year of photos ready to go in an album!

I scrapbooked all day again yesterday. Since Friday night I've gotten 11 layouts done. (that's 2-page spreads) I'm almost done with 2007 - just have to do a title page and an ending page and I can put that whole scrapbook together. Yea! It's been forever since I actually had a whole year put together.
Alas, today I must return to the real world of getting ready for a class, laundry and other domestic chores. Darn! And I was on such a roll!
