Photo Saturday - taken in Yellow Springs, OH.   Tracy was at the chiropractor and thought the fall trees outside the window were so pretty she snapped a picture with her phone.

Have a lunch date today - and then who knows.  I still need to work on class projects....or I may read a book and take a nap.

Happy Halloween!

The card - just one more Halloween card.  The hat, a punched circle, punched stars, some washi tape and a sentiment.  Easy peasy!

Off to breakfast with a friend this morning.  Hopefully when I get back I can actually get some work done on class projects.  Looking forward to Friday night crafting!

Thursday, October 29, 2015

The card - a super easy one.  The image and sentiment are stamped in black.  The strips below are washi tape.  The smaller white panel is matted with black and then popped up on the card front.

All week I've had good intentions of actually getting something done during the day.  Hasn't happened......but today I really do have some stuff that needs to be done.  But then I'm meeting a friend later this afternoon for a movie and dinner - yay!  Looking forward to that!

Have a great day!

The card - leaves are from Hero Arts.  I stamped them all in cajun, but the background ones are stamped off.  The top one is stamped full strength.  The sentiment is added on top, stamped in black.  The small front panel is popped up.

Need to get some fall clothes out and put some summer stuff away.  When I left it was 80 degrees here and about the same in Ohio, now it's much colder and the short sleeve shirts are just not doing the job.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - a witches hat from Stampendous (I think), cut out and popped up, a sentiment on a punched out circle, a small spiders web (from SU) , a small doily and some washi tape.  A bit of a collagey Halloween card.

Didn't end up getting much done yesterday.  A friend of Tracy's that was traveling thru Colorado stopped to visit for several hours.  It was so nice - I hadn't seen her since Tracy's wedding 5 years ago and it was nice to catch up.  So, today I am going to try and see what I can accomplish.....not sure what will happen, but I'll give it a try.......one day at a time is my motto these days.

Have a great day!

Monday, October 26, 2015

The card - border images are a stencil that I sponged randomly with honey and lost lagoon.  The flowers are from Unity and the sentiment is from SU.

Trying to get back to somewhat of a normal routine.  I've been sleeping a lot and reading a lot the last few days since I got home.  My way of coping, I guess.  Friends have been feeding me and taking me out to dinner and lunch so the hours in the day go by much faster!  Thank goodness for awesome friends.  But I do need to think about class projects for November.   We are also planning on having some sort of a celebration of Tracy's life here in Colorado, so we have to get that figured out.

I want to thank you all again for the thoughts and prayers.  I go back and read those comments over and over again.

Have a wonderful day!

Tracy Ann (Stoddart) Primozich

Gone from our sight
but never from our hearts.

Just a bit of update info in case you are wondering.  Tracy had surgery to remove her spleen on Tuesday, October 13.  The hope was that this surgery would be the 'fix it' for the auto immune issues she had been dealing with for the past year.  The surgery went fine, she was doing well with just a bit of pain and a bit of breathing difficulty.  However, she was in good spirits when Tony and I left the hospital on Wednesday night.  During the night she had to get up to go to the restroom and as they were helping her get up she collapsed, her heart stopped, and they were never able to revive her.  They did an autopsy, but could not find a reason for her sudden and unexpected death.  We may never know the reason why.

Her service was on Tuesday  - it was a beautiful, uplifting celebration of Tracy's life.  I am so thankful for the generous and loving people at her church for the wonderful job they did.  It was very hard being away from home and not knowing anyone.  I am grateful that Tracy's friends were like her,  and were very loving and giving and ready to help!

So, now I am at home in Colorado.   Weary and still very sad, but thankful for all of your thoughts, prayers and good wishes.

Thank you all so much for your support.

It is with a sad and heavy heart that I am writing this........my lovely, beautiful daughter passed away during the night.  I am so very sad.

You will probably not see many posts in the next few days - or you may see more than you want  with my ramblings.

Thank you for your understanding!

The card -  leaves are from Close to My Heart.  I stamped each one full strength and then again without re-inking.  The sentiment is from SU and is stamped in black.

Tracy's surgery is all over - it went well and she is doing fine.  The surgery was delayed for a couple of hours to begin with due to another before her taking longer than expected.  So, it turned out to be a very long day.  She was still pretty groggy and out of it when we came home last night.  Hopefully she will be a little  more with it today and will be well on the road to recovery.

PS - I may have given the wrong impression about 'coming home'-  Tony and I came home, but Tracy is still in the hospital - she will most likely be there until at least Friday.

Have a terrific day!

Tuesday, October 13, 2015

The card - some fun printed paper, a die cut leaf (die cut is from Tim Holtz) and a sentiment.  How easy is that?

Tracy's surgery is today - she is having her spleen removed.  The hope is that this surgery will get rid of the auto immune issues that she has been dealing with for the past year.  Please keep her in your prayers!

Have a terrific day!

Monday, October 12, 2015

The card -  flowers are from Penny Black, stamped in black on some printed paper from Tim Holtz.  Added some bling and a sentiment.

Dr's appointment this morning, not sure what's on the agenda for the rest of the day.  If the weather cooperates I may go out pull some weeds.

Have a wonderful day!

Photo Sunday - sorry no project today - just some more fall stuff from Grand Mesa

The street fair yesterday was fun - lots of cool things to see. but I did resist and didn't buy anything!  Today will probably be a laid back day at home - probably watching football  (maybe I'll get some stitching done since they won't show the Broncos game here - and if the Broncos aren't playing, who cares?)

Have a wonderful day!

Photo Saturday - fall on Grand Mesa

Tracy had a busy day yesterday, so she will probably be resting today.  There is a street fair going on in Yellow Springs where Tracy lives and it's just a mile down the street - so, I am planning on going for a walk a little later and checking it out!

Have a great day!

Friday, October 9, 2015

The card - leaves are from Hero Arts.  Colors are white, cajun and moss.  The top layer is popped up.

Tracy has to go have more blood tests this morning - then it's back home to more chores - Tracy says it's laundry day!   (and yes, I got the kitchen finished - whew!)

Have a great day!

Thursday, October 8, 2015

The card - some more fun grunge.  Sta,ped images are all from Papertrey Ink.

Off to Dr's appointments today.  And maybe I can finish up the kitchen after that.  Yep, she talked me into re-arranging the entire kitchen.  I can't figure out why everything I took out of the cupboards doesn't all seem to fit back in.  Hmmm.....

Have a wonderful day.

Wednesday, October 7, 2015

The card - I stamped the leaves on a piece of white and then punched them out with a square punch.  The squares are rounded on the corners and popped up of the card front.  I added a small sentiment to the bottom one.

Went out for a short walk this morning and discovered it is way more humid here than Colorado - ugh!  May have to rethink what time of day I walk :)   Not sure what's on the agenda for today - I heard something about the fact that Tracy's kitchen needs to be re-organized - hmmmm.

Have a great day!

Tuesday, October 6, 2015

The card - just some fun stuff - the arrow is a punch that I used with some patterned paper.  Sentiment is from SU and the striped piece is washi tape.

A long day of traveling yesterday, but I'm here.  And we went to Five Guys for dinner last night - yay!  One of my favorites!  This morning it's off to a Dr's appointment and then probably a trip to the grocery store.

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, October 5, 2015

The card - an easy, fun, grunge card.  Stamped images are from Papertrey Ink.

Leaving on a jet plane..............on my way to Ohio today.  My daughter is having surgery so I am going to stay with her before and after the surgery.  I will be gone for most of the month, but I will try to keep up with the blog :)

Have a terrific day!

Photo Saturday - sunset at Corn Lake, Grand Junction

And we're off on an adventure today - Judy S and I are going to Cedaredge for their annual Applefest Celebration.  Yummy greasy fried potatoes and homemade apple pie - I can hardly wait :)

Have a great day!

Friday, October 2, 2015

The card - leaves are from Hero Arts.  The background leaf is stamped directly on the small panel, the gold leaf is stamped on white, cut out and popped up.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.  The small panel is popped up.

Need to get some yard work done today and hopefully some Halloween decorations up.  Looking forward to Friday night crafting tonight!

Have a wonderful day!

Thursday, October 1, 2015

The card - a super simple one - just some printed paper (background) and some die cuts (from Tim Holtz).  I did stamp a bit of grunge speckles on the leaves and the leaves are popped up.  Added a button and some twine.

A busy day - haircut this morning and then off to my Wool Gatherer's group this afternoon.  Life is Good!

Have a wonderful day!
