Ugh - snow!  The snow we got in December was just beginning to melt and now there's more!  I did get my errands done yesterday - finished up just as it was beginning to snow.  Good timing.  I never did get around to paperwork or stamping, so maybe I can do one of those today.  Looking forward to Friday night crafting with Deb and Emily tonight.

Yesterday was a much needed break - lots of fun and a totally relaxing day!  Thanks Judy S for an awesome day!  Not sure what direction I'm headed today.  Have some errands I need to do, but it's supposed to rain/snow for the next couple of days so I may just stay home and try to get started on some paper work for taxes - or do some stamping.

 Before and after - the laundry/sewing/utility/storage room

Before - ugh - dark brown paneling and cupboards and orange kitchen carpet that had been in there from the time we added this room to the house in 1976.

After:  a little paint, new floor and a new window made a big difference.  The laundry area had some folding doors and I removed those to leave that area open.

Hoping to finish up the laundry room today.  I got a little sidetracked - decided I needed some of those white cube things with drawers that they sell at Michael's. I have to admire people that have a whole wall (or room) done with those things - it would take forever to put that many together!  I started out with two and decided I needed two more - so I only did a total of 4, but it took me most of the afternoon.   But now they're done and I can get the rest of the room put together and cleaned up and maybe even do some laundry :)

Taking a break from the garage today.  It's by no means done and it really doesn't look much different, but everything is sorted into new piles.  Now all the stamping stuff, Christmas stuff, household stuff, etc. are all together in their own little section which will make it much easier to deal with.  I'm going to work on the laundry room today - it has become the 'catch-all' place for everything I didn't know what to do with and it really needs to be cleaned up!

Project Sunday - a project that was originally intended to be a Christmas gift - ha! Oh gosh, it seems the holidays are over and now it's time to actually live in the real world again.  I have a lot of 'work' that needs to get done in the next few days but today I am going to a new stitching group at a local shop.  I haven't really had time to miss all the stitching days I used to attend at Laura's, but I knew that once the moving and then the holidays were over that I would be feeling the loss more.  So, I joined a group that starts today - looking forward to meeting a new group of stitchers!
