Photo Saturday - always love to see the first signs of spring

I love modern technology - when it works.  Not so much when there's a problem.  Got a call from the bank yesterday saying my on-line bank accounts had been compromised.  No money lost or no charges, but it still means I have to go to the bank and deal with having all my accounts changed - yuk!  I've had the same checking account number for over 40 years - now that is sad :(    So, that's what I will be doing this morning - doesn't that sound like fun?  Not!

Have a couple of errands to do this morning and then I have an appointment to get my car serviced this afternoon.  Just another exciting day in my life :)   But there's Friday night crafting tonight, so something fun and relaxing to look forward to!

The card - the butterflies are a SU punch.  Sentiment is also from SU.  The strips down the side are washi tape - I adhered the washi tape to each side of the card front  - the front panel is cut shorter than the card on each side and popped up to leave the washi tape showing.

I got the weeds taken care of yesterday (that was a good thing) so today I think I better work on getting some class projects put together.  Here's hoping I can be at least a little creative today :)

Have to do a couple of errands this morning, and then  I have to attend a funeral service this afternoon.  A young man (37) from my late husband's family committed suicide last week.  So sad.

Misc Sunday - ahh.....I actually had on a pair of flip flops yesterday afternoon - love this weather!!!!

Project Sunday - a 'black sheep' needle case I made the other night

And speaking of Black Sheep - that's where I'm off to today - it's Black Sheep Sunday, so in just a bit I will be meeting my friend Eileen for breakfast and then we'll be spending the rest of the day stitching.  Yay!

The card - this is the card I did for our Shoebox Club in February.  The flower is from SU.  I stamped it twice (with strawberry slush) and then cut the center out of one and popped it up in the center of the main flower.  Leaf stamp is from Hero Arts and background stamp is from Kaiser Kraft.  The banner piece on the side is made from vellum.

Haven't quite decided what I'm doing today.  I probably should do some laundry and there's always household chores that need to be done.  We'll see!  I'm looking forward to Friday night crafting though - always a highlight in my week :)
