Photo Sunday - gotta love a free car wash!

Trying to figure out my plan of action for the day.  Leaning towards working on some long over-do straightening up in the garage.  Not sure how I manage to get things in such a mess out there.  But it is at the "I can't stand it much longer' phase.  I've been waiting for it to get warmer and now I have no excuse.  I'll have a bit more caffeine and decide!

It feels like it's been a pretty laid back week, but I have managed to get a few things done the last couple of days.  Have a couple of errands to do and then I'm thinking maybe some time in the stamp room.

The card - dug out a really old 'grad' stamp for this one.  Added the congratulations, some patterned paper and some punched stars.  Easy!

Missed posting yesterday - had a bit of not feeling so great Monday night and all day yesterday!  Yuk!  But much better today - think I'm almost back to normal!  Need to catch up on some chores if I can work up the energy today :)

Lots of 'Grandma time' today and tomorrow.  Taking Hudson to school,  picking up both boys this afternoon and then an overnight.  No plans to be productive in between 😅. Just 2 days of fun kid stuff!

Jeff is out of town on his annual golf trip so I am in charge of taking Hudson to school.  After that I'll be on my way to Delta to help a friend with her Dad's Memorial Service.  A full day!

The card - here's another Graduation card.  Balloons are punched from some textured silver and black paper and popped up.   Grad is made using die cut letters.  Congratulations is stamped directly on the background piece.  You did it is stamped on a separate piece, punched out and popped up.

Awww.......a blast from the past.  This was my vey first post on this blog - 15 years ago today!  Wow!  I can't believe it's been that long!  How time flies!

I've posted over 3700 cards and lots of other misc stuff.  Goodness!

This is the first of what I hope will be many and frequent posts of me sharing my love of stamping and scrapbooking. I am in the process of figuring this whole blog thing out so I hope you will bear with me during the learning process.
This picture was taken in Janauary in my back yard. We had way too much snow and cold weather this winter and now I'm looking forward to spring, warm weather and flowers instead of snow.

Tomorrow I will try for post showing a scrapbooking or stamping project.

We're having some beautiful spring weather this week.  So, it's time to get some outside work done.  I need to figure out some yard decor.   I put in some decorative rock last fall  and when I did that I removed all my decorative stuff.   So, today I'm going to work on 'redecorating' the yard.  I have a vision - lol - we'll see how it works out!

Have had a request for some graduation cards.  Ordered some generic die cuts from Amazon and they arrived yesterday - so, guess I'll be spending the day in the stamp room!

The card - had a request for some 'guy cards' so tried to get a few done on my last stamping day!  I used a circle die cut to make a mask and then sponged the inside of the circle.  The trees are stamped on top of the stamped circle.  Then I embossed the entire piece and added the die cut deer after embossing.  

'Grandma time' with Ethan today.  That's all.  It's supposed to be a nice sun shiny day so hoping for some time at the park this afternoon!

Project Sunday - a couple weeks ago my friend and I went to a place in town called Funky Junk.  It's a cool place where you take a picture in of something you saw on Pinterest and they will get the supplies together and help you make it!  This is the project I chose to do.  It was great fun and now I have a new welcome sign hanging on my front porch!

We made great progress yesterday!  The shed is cleaned out and there is a great big pile of junk ready for the city trucks to haul away!  Yay!   Then Ethan decided he wanted to spend the night so we just hung out and watched some tv before bed.  Got so much done yesterday that I now have no idea what I'm doing today!

Time for some cleaning......this week starts the city clean-up - meaning you can put all your junk outside on the curb and the city will haul it off for you!  So, I have a shed full of junk that hasn't been cleaned out for the last several years.  Today is the day!  Jeff and the boys are coming over and we're going to make a stab at getting rid of some junk!  It's time!
