The card - stamps are from Papertrey. Colors are navy, olive and mustard. The card front is embossed with a quikkutz embossing folder.

Yard work today - yuk! But I've put it off long enough and it needs to be done. I don't want to end up looking at shaggy bushes and weeds all winter.

Enjoy your day.

The card - flower stamp is from Unity, sentiment is from Papertrey. Lined paper is from Basic Grey (the rest of the paper is SU). Colors are olive and cajun.

Haircut this morning. Then I guess I will try to get some shopping done. I still have to find a top to wear with my skirt & jacket (for the wedding). Didn't think that would be such a problem, but I'm not finding what I want. Hopefully I will get lucky today!

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, September 28, 2010

The card - Tree stamp is from Stampendous. Embossing on scalloped edge is from a quickutz embossing folder. Colors are espresso, vanilla and peach.

I can't believe that I only have a week and a half before we leave for Tracy's wedding. So, I need to re-group today and figure out what all I need to get done.

Have a wonderful day!

Scrappin' Sunday - an older layout with pictures from Glade Park. It's not too dated, but there is some eyelets and a slide frame on there - both of which I haven't used in a long time!

I'm thinking I'm going to take a break from 'work stuff' and just spend the day stamping for fun today! It's been a while and I need to get some fall cards done.

Happy scrappin'

Photo Saturday - taken on Grand Mesa a couple weeks ago.

It's way too early to be up, but I'm awake (more or less) and can't go back to sleep. Have some projects I still need to get done so I may work on those today.

Have a great day!

Friday, September 24, 2010

The card - stamped image is from Stampendous. Colors are daffodil, navy and olive. (the colors look a little off in this picture - it's much prettier in real life!)

Boy, did I over sleep this morning. Not sure what's up with my sleeping pattern - must be the full moon - I keep waking up during the night and can't go back to sleep for an hour or so. Very annoying!

The wedding programs are done! Yea! I think I'm done with the paper crafting for the wedding now until after the event. Today I need to get my room straightened up - I've made a rather large mess this week. Have to get it in some sort of order before tonight!

Answer to someone's question about Wednesday's card - the background on the card was done with an embossing folder. I think it's from Sizzix.

Have a wonderful day.

Thursday, September 23, 2010

The card - stamp is from Hero Arts. Colors are kraft, cajun and garden green.

Back to work on the wedding program today. It's printed and cut, now it's just a matter of putting it together.

The card - stamped images are from SU. Colors are espresso, kraft and cherry cobler.

It's supposed to rain today, so I guess it's a good day to stay inside and work on wedding stuff - still have to do the program and figure out the guest book.

Have a fabulous day!

Tuesday, September 21, 2010

The card - this is a layout I copied from my friend Sherry. She did a card like this at our last stamp club meeting. Thanks Sherry! The leaves I used are from Hero Arts, the saying is from CTMH, ribbon is from May Arts. Colors are mustard, cajun and navy.
Taking a break from class projects today - the projects are done, they just need to be cut and bagged (a job for another day!) Have chores to do and errands to run.
Happy stampin'

Monday, September 20, 2010

A little more work on some class projects today and then class tonight.

Have a great day!

Project Sunday - Since the invitations have been mailed and received I guess I can show them to you. Picture on the right is closed, bottom picture is open. The paper is actually a cream colored textured paper. (sorry, the pictures are not that great!) The small cards on the rightare stacked in the pocket and contain all the information for the weekend.

Back to work on class projects today. Now I have to start thinking Christmas - that's not going to be easy with the temps in the 90's and sunshine!

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

Saturday, September 18, 2010

Photo Saturday - pine trees reflected in the lake - taken up on Grand Mesa last weekend.

Working on class projects today. I'm on a mission to get all my class stuff done so I will have time to concentrate on wedding stuff.

Have a great day!

Friday, September 17, 2010

The card - poppy stamp is from Inkadinkado. I inked the stamp with olive and poppy, stamped, then colored with the same colors with a blender pen. Script paper is from 7 Gypsies. Ribbon is May Arts. Colors are black, kraft (stripe paper) & vanilla.

Class projects & wedding stuff - those are the things I will be working on for the next few days. Looking forward to Friday night stamping!

Thursday, September 16, 2010

The card - I used a variety of stamps on the small panel - can't even remember which company they are from. The sentiment is from CTMH. Colors are cajun, mustard and espresso.

Gosh, I must have worked too hard yesterday - I slept in an hour past when I normally wake up this morning. Had a great day though, got a project done that I was pleased with which doesn't always happen! Wish I could do more of the same today, but alas, there is laundry to be done, errands to run and a class tonight to get ready for.

Have a wonderful day!

Wednesday, September 15, 2010

The card - image is from Stampington. Judy S bought this stamp over for me to play with - it was fun to color, but then I had a heck of a time figuring out what to do with it. Decided a simple layout was the best.

Need to do some yard work, want to work on class projects - oh my, a dilemma- you can probably guess which I will end up doing!

Happy stampin'

(Peggy: ha! ha! I hope you and Judy are having a wonderful time!)

Tuesday, September 14, 2010

The card - flower stamp is from Unity - inked with markers (daffodil & pear). Card is espresso, daffodil and white.

Need to get things set up for class this morning, maybe some stamping this afternoon and then class again tonight.

Have a great day!

The card - this is the card I did for our Shoebox Club last week. The idea for this card came from the lastest Paper Crafts magazine. Stamps are from Papertrey. Colored strips are chocolate, cajun, tangerine and peach. I glued the strips to a smaller piece of white, then stamped the leaves with versamark. Card is kraft.

I need to get myself organized today and figure out my plan for this week. Class projects and yard work all need to be done before we go to Ohio. Can't believe the wedding is now only 4 short weeks away. Yikes!

Have a wonderful day!

Sunday, September 12, 2010

Scrappin' Sunday - a quick digital page with some random pictures from our drive over Grand Mesa yesterday. I used SU's My Digital Software - one of the features I like in this program is that you can 'color match' things to your photo - i.e.-I matched the colored strips to parts of the photos on this page.

What a great day we had yesterday! It was a gorgeous day for a drive! The colors are just beginning to change on the Mesa so we got a little of the 'summer look' along with a bit of fall. To make our day complete we had time to stop at The Scrappy Moose in Delta - Hi Carol! Have to apologize for interrupting Carol's class, but she got me inspired by the project she was teaching - (spent way more than my budget!) but I have some cool new 7 Gypsies stuff to play with!

Today I'm going to get a little yard work done, then finish up some projects while I watch the football game - Go Broncos!

Happy scrappin'

Photo Saturday - sunset last Sunday. One of these days I'm going to do something wonderful with all these sunset photos I keep taking. (just can't resisit though - they are just so pretty!)

A little r & r day today! It's been a crazy, busy week and I need a break. So, my friend Linda & I are going for a drive today - and hopefully take some cool pictures. Now we just have to decide where to go............

Have a great day!

Friday, September 10, 2010

The card - stamped images are from Unity. Colors are kraft, wasabi and cajun.

Lots to do today - a little yard work, a couple of errands, and a lot of straightening up in my stamp room so we have room to 'play' tonight.

The card - stamped images are from Unity. Paper is from (top to bottom) Tim Holtz, Bo-bunny, Basic Grey. Card is espresso. Bakers twine is from Papertrey.

Back to work on a project for Shoebox. Didn't get it done yesterday so it's got to be the priority for today.

Have a wonderful day.

Wednesday, September 8, 2010

The card - flower stamp is from Unity. Printed paper is Basic Grey. Colors are vanilla, kraft and black.

Well, my plan for doing some yard work this morning kind of flew out the window since it's pouring rain at the moment. I guess I will change gears and try to figure out a project for Shoebox Club which is coming up tomorrow. Also have to get things together for class tonight.

Enjoy your day!

Tuesday, September 7, 2010

The card - a little bit of 'fall' today. Printed paper is Tim Holtz - leaves are die cuts (sizzix) - sentiment is from Papertrey.

Fall is definitely in the air - it is downright chilly out this morning. I saw on the news last night that there were freeze warnings out for parts of the state. Ugh - not quite ready for that yet! As soon as it warms up a bit I am going to Jeff's to trim his bushes, then a couple of errands. Class tonight.

Have a great day!

Monday, September 6, 2010

The card - flower image is from SU, sentiment is from Papertrey. I inked the stamp with espresso and peach markers.

Happy Labor Day! I hope you are enjoying your 'long weekend' if you are lucky enough to have today off. It has been a 'labor' weekend for me but I've managed to get a lot of stuff done - that is always a good feeling. I have some cleaning up to do downstairs today and then I should be ready for my busy week - I have somthing going on every night this week, starting with scrap class tonight.

Have a fantastic day!

Sunday, September 5, 2010

Scrappin' Sunday - although this was not the color combo I had planned on using on this layout, I found these stickers in my stash and just had to use them because the words were perfect. (laugh, friends, priceless, smile, etc)

I got all the card class stuff done yesterday - yea! Now I need to get the scrap class kits cut and bagged today. Such an exciting weekend!

Happy scrappin'

Saturday, September 4, 2010

Photo Saturday - the sunflowers were going to be the orginal focus of this picture, but then the old barn sort of popped out at me so I had to include it in the picture.

The last two days have gone by without much getting accomplished. Not sure what happened, but I've had a hard time staying focused. Today my plan is to get all my class projects cut and bagged - nothing too exciting, but stuff that needs to be done. So, here's hoping I can stay on track, get that stuff out of the way and have a little time for something more fun!

Enjoy your day!

Friday, September 3, 2010

The card - flower image is an old stamp I found in my drawer - I think it was from Print Works. Background stamp is SU - embossing folders are also SU. Colors are marina mist and pear pizzazz.

Had a great time at Sherry's last night - she did some marvelous cards (as always!) Have to get some stuff finished and my room cleaned up a bit today. Looking forward to our regular Friday night stamping tonight.

Thursday, September 2, 2010

The card - floral image is Penny Black, butterfly & background stamp are SU. sentiment is AMuse. Colors are kraft, black & vanilla.

Time to make a decision as to what I'm going to do today. Yard work? Laundry? Stamp? Class Projects? All of the above? Don't have a clue - I'll figure it out after a little more caffeine I guess. Looking forward to stamp club with Sherry tonight though.

Happy stampin'

Wednesday, September 1, 2010

The card - flower stamp is from Stampendous - sentiment is Amuse. Colors are not quite navy, pear and peach.

Today looks like a repeat of yesterday - yard work this morning and then some errands. (no fun lunch today, though!) I didn't get all my errands done yesterday so hopefully I can get the rest done today.

Enjoy your day!
