The card - stamped image is from Stamps by Judith. I colored it with copics. Colors are wasabi and daffodil.
The drive to Silverton yesterday was so worth while - the colors on Red Mountain Pass between Ouray and Silverton were absolutely gorgeous (you'll see a picture tomorrow). Now, since I've had two 'play days' this week I guess it's time to actually get some work done. But I do have stamping tonight with Emily to look forward to!
Enjoy your day!

The card - stamped image is from Inkadinkado. Not a very exciting layout, but this stamp was so big I couldn't think of much to do with it, but I loved the image. Colored it with copics.
Talked my son Jeff into taking a drive today, so we'll be leaving this morning for a drive to Silverton. Here's hoping for a great fall photo taking day!
Have a wonderful day!

Household chores this morning and then Judy S and I are going to a movie this afternoon. We've been wanting to see "The Help" and since it's still on we decided we'd better go while we can.

After quite a stamping marathon yesterday the first thing I need to do today is clean off my table - oh gosh, what a mess. Need to get to work on class projects so hopefully I can be creative today :)

So, I have some new goodies to play with - yesterday's shopping trip resulted in a hit to my wallet, but a nice little pile of fun new paper and a few other items. I think it's going to be a good day to work on some projects that I have floating around in my head.
Have a fabulous day!

Photo Saturday - just happened to catch the moon coming up on Monday night.
A crop day today. I have to get myself organized and figure out what I'm going to work on. I've spent the last few months working on Tracy's wedding album so now I need to switch gears. Don't have pictures from Jeff's wedding yet, but I think there's some photos hanging around from Easter (and maybe even Christmas!) It'll be a fun day no matter what!
Have a fabulous day!

The card - used a really old stamp set (SU) for this one. Just added a bit of color here and there and sponged the edge lightly. Stamped the image a second time and cut out and popped up the butterfly.
Well, I've had three days this week that I thought I'd get some stamping done and it hasn't worked out yet. Maybe today?
Enjoy your day!

The card - floral image is from SU, script background is from Stampabilities. Colors are marina mist, kraft and white.
Ahhh....the sweet smell of rain! I've been hopng for rain all week. Rain means I don't have to drive across town and water Jeff's lawn......rain also means I can put off working in my own yard.....rain means I can spend the day in my stamp room making cards. Yay for rain!
Enjoy your day!

The card - flower and stem are from SU. Script background is from Stampabilities. Colors are kraft, black and cherry cobbler.
Lunch with a friend today, class tonight. Those are the two main parts of my day, just haven't decided what to do in between. I think maybe I'll try to get some stamping done :)

The card - stamped image is from SU. Colors are white and eggplant.
Ahhh...I'm feeling a bit at loose ends. After a month of working everyday getting the yard and the house in order for the wedding I am all of a sudden left with not much motivation to do anything. What now? Do I dare mention that the holidays and Christmas will be here before I know it? Hmmmm...something to think about I guess!
Have a great day!

Photo Saturday - it wasn't the best day for showing off the Monument to some of my California relatives - it was raining and foggy and a lot of the time the clouds were so thick we couldn't see much beyond the road. I took this at the beginning of the drive at Cold Shiver's Point.
Well, I'm not at my friend's cabin this weekend - bummer! This cold has gotten the best of me and I spent most of yesterday sleeping on the sofa. I'm hoping I'll feel better today, but so far I just feel like going back to bed.
Hope you are having a great weekend!

The card - the images on this card were printed on the computer using SU's MDS. I colored the birthday letters with copics. Embossing folder is from sizzix. Colors are white, melon mambo and daffodil.
I guess all the celebrating has caught up with me - I woke up with a cold yesterday - stuffy head, coughing, sore throat, the whole works. Yuk! I do not do sick well! I'm supposed to be going with my friend Celisa to her cabin today for the weekend. Now I'm playing the waiting game, seeing if all the 'cold stuff' I took is going to have any effect. I am going to be really bummed if I miss out on a weekend at the cabin.
Have a great day!

The card - stamped images are from SU. Colors are not quite navy, real red and limeade. The flowers are cut out and popped up. I used a ruler and the not quite navy marker to draw the border on the white piece.
The company is all gone and Jeff and Sara are in Hawaii on their honeymoon so it's back to real life today - darn! I was having so much fun I didn't want it to end. Need to get my house back in order - after all the cleaning before the wedding festivities it now looks like a tornado went thru here. Since I have class tonight I guess I better start with getting the kits cut and bagged for that and then do some straightening up.
Have a wonderful day.
Tuesday, September 6, 2011

Ahhh....one last day of fun! I took Tracy and Tony to the airport this morning ....boo hoo... but I still have a couple of California relatives here. Scott has never been to Colorado so I thought a trip over the Colorado National Monument this morning was a must. Tracy and Tony took them up to Grand Mesa yesterday and they loved it. So.....I'm off for a little sight-seeing.
Enjoy your day!

The card - flower image is from Paper Inspirations, sentiment is from Stampers Anonomous. I stamped the image and then sponged the area around it. Super simple.
A cooking day - Tracy and Tony seem to think they need chicken and noodles before they leave tomorrow, so it's a trip to the grocery store this morning and then some cooking this afternoon. It's been such a fun weekend I will hate to see it end!
Enjoy your day.
