Planning on getting a few chores done and then picking up Hudson & Ethan.  Ethan decided the other day that he wanted a sleepover.  We were trying to decide which night, Friday or Saturday, and Hudson decided it should be a "twofer.'   So, Friday and Saturday it is....way to problem solve Hudson :)

Rain, rain, rain.  It's feeling a bit soggy here!   I could use a bit of sunshine for a bit :)   Plans for mowing the lawn will have to wait I guess.    So, I'm off to Farmer's Market to pick up my weekly box of peaches and veggies.  Having lunch and spending some time with a friend this afternoon!

Another stay at home day - it's wet out there this morning and almost chilly!  I'm not ready for summer to end quite yet, but the cooler temps are rather refreshing!  I need to clean up the mess I made yesterday (it was a pretty productive stamping day) and then decide what I'm going to work on today.  More caffeine is needed first though!

The card - another quilt card.  I put all the pieces together on the card front (except for the sentiment piece) and then I embossed the whole piece.  Then I added the sentiment piece (popped up) and a bit of ribbon.  

Have to mow the lawn this morning, do  few household chores and then I can relax and enjoy the Needle Keepers this afternoon.  A bit sad, one of the girls left us to move to Denver and we are going to miss her terribly!  But she's going to be close to her kids and grandkids so that's a big plus for her!  We wish her well!   But dang, I've known her for a good many years and I'm still sad she's leaving :(    Class tonight too, so a bit of a busy day!

Project

Project Sunday - I have been sewing.  I've made 2 sets of these towels in the last few days.  One set is for me and one set is for a birthday gift.  I hang these on my dishwasher which is next to my sink.  They are perfect for using to dry your hands!  Still have a couple of seasonal ones to make, but I'm covered for now thru winter!

My friend Karen is coming to stamp today - Yay!  A productive (I hope) and fun day!
