Working on class projects today - have a few details to finish then I can get the kits ready for class tomorrow night.
Hope you are having a great weekend.
Photo Saturday - took this picture at sunrise on Wednesday. It was freezing cold and I was standing on my patio in my pj's - brrr. The things I do for a snapshot.........
I have a pile of not-quite-finished projects that I plan to work on today. (Pages that need journaling etc. ) Would really like to get them done and off my desk!
Have a wonderful day!
Well, my goodness - thanks so much for all those kind comments yesterday! Sure made up for the one from the nasty blog troll. And moving on.......... today is a catch-up day - finishing up some class projects and a couple of errands.
Have a wonderful day!
The card - more Go Green (SU) Dotted background is from Glitz. Colors are kraft and artichoke.Boring??? Ho-Hum? Geez! Someone left a comment yesterday saying my blog posts were boring - can you imagine? Now, what could be more exciting than stamping, scrapbooking and photographs? I know, I know - that person must really be out of touch. Of course they could have been commenting on my little daily blips of life - now that IS pretty boring. But, actually, I'm old. I gave up the really exciting stuff several years ago. Too much excitement is really not good for someone of my advanced age - it can cause heart attacks ya know. So, I shall go on posting my cards, scrapbook pages and photographs and hope that the person from yesterday has moved on to a more exciting blog! (Oh no! I hadn't thought about the idea that they thought my cards were boring - oh my! Oh well - each to their own. )
Have a wonderful scrappin, stampin' day!

The card - a really simple one - a good guy card. Tree is from SU - stamped in black. Card is kraft. Left side is embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder.
I have to go get a hair cut this morning, then do a few errands. Hopefully I will have enough ambition left to get some work done on class projects.
Have a great day!
Scrappin Sunday - a page from our trip to Yosemite.
Yesterday was great - those girls do know how to spend a day having fun. Great food - the chicken mushroom lasagne was awesome, plus salad, bread, dessert, snacks - oh yum! And I got several layouts done. It was a very good day!
Hope you're having a wonderful weekend!
I'm looking forward to a fun and productive scrapping day - the Good Time Girls will be here. (my name for them was the Wild & Crazy Bunch, but they changed it to the Good Time Girls) So, some serious scrapping time today! Yea!
Have a wonderful day!
The card - has anyone been stamping long enough that they remember this stamp from SU? It's pretty darn old - but I still think it's rather 'cute' so I decided I should use it on a card.
I have errands to do today then our regular Friday night get-together tonight. Hopefully I can be productive and not just social! What a concept.
Have a great day!
The card - flowers are from For All You Do (SU) - sentiment is from Hero Arts. Colors are razzleberry, melon mambo and artichoke.
If I can stay focused today I am going to try and get a head start on next month's class projects. So, here's hoping I will have a productive day in my stamp room.
Happy stampin'

The card - a guy thing - had to play with some new stamps from Stampers Anonomous (Tim Holtz) A pretty simple layout. The car is cut out and popped up.
I have no clue what I'm going to do today. It seems like I had a plan, but I don't remember what it was - oh well, I'm sure I'll find something to keep me busy. (or not!)
Have a wonderful day.
The card - flowers are from For All You Do (SU) - stamped with razzleberry. Stem is Basic grey. Pot is made with SU's ornament punch. Card is Basic Grey. The top white piece is distressed on the edge and then sponged.
I am planning on working on Tracy's 'save the date' cards today. The week has gotten away from me and I didn't get everything accomplished that I had planned.
Have a wonderful day!
The card - super simple layout - colors are chocolate and riding hood red. Flower is from Vintage Vogue (SU), stamped in chocolate, cut out and popped up.
Didn't get much of anything accomplished yesterday - I think my friends passed on whatever cold/sinus thing they have going on. I spent most of the day sleeping on the sofa. So, that means I must get my Shoe box project done before our get together tonight.
Have a wonderful day.
The card - stamp set is For All You Do (SU) Colors are olive and razzleberry.
I need to spend some time in the stamp room today - have to figure out a project for our Shoebox Club tomorrow night. Hopefully that will go together quickly so I can get back to work on Tracy's 'save the date' cards. Class tonight.
Happy stampin'
Scrappin Sunday - a bit of Super Bowl history (and scrappin' history too!) Couldn't resist. I did this page in 1999 - wow - there's been just a bit of change in my scrappin' style since then.
Work today - have to get my card kits bagged for classes this week. And work on Tracy's 'save the date' cards.
Enjoy your day!

Photo Saturday - this is another picture that Tracy took while she was in Buma - this was one of my favorites.
Too much fun yesterday - lunch, shopping, and a lot of laughs! It was a great day! Not sure what I'm doing today - Linda and I had planned a day trip to Rifle Falls to take some pictures but decided to postpone that trip because the forecast is calling for snow. Dang! So.......maybe some stamping today - I have a few new stamps I can play with.
Hope your weekend is off to a wonderful start!

The card - lg leaf stamp is from Hero Arts - script bacground stamp is Stampabilities - butterfly is Martha Stewart punch. I stamped the background stamp, then the leaf on top, then cut the image into squares and mounted them on the chocolate layer. Colors are baja and chocolate.
A play day today! Yea! Judy S and I are going to do something fun - not sure what that's going to be yet, but I'm looking forward to a fun and relaxing day! (and yes, I did get my house cleaned yesterday - the upstairs anyway - woohoo!)
Have a great day!
The card - here's another color combo that I really liked - pumpkin and razzleberry. Stamp is For All You Do (SU) Card and mat are white - black accents.
Well, I got most of the things on my list done yesterday - except for the cleaning house part. Guess that's going to be my job today.
Enjoy your day!

The card - stamps are from Papertrey - flowers from Prima - card is vanilla - ribbon is kraft. Label shape is die cut from Sizzix. Super easy.
Let's see - clean house, laundry, cut and bag kits, or errands - those are my choices for today. (can you tell I didn't choose cleaning the house yesterday? - maybe today!)
Have a wonderful day.

The card - stamp is from For All You Do (SU) - colors are basic grey, durango and saffron. I loved the look of this color combination when I saw it on someone's blog - just wanted to give it a try.
I'm trying to decide whether to work on class projects today or clean house - it's a toss-up - so I guess I'll see what I'm in the mood for after I've had a bit more caffieine.
Have a wonderful day.
