Photo Sunday - from our drive over the Colorado National Monument on Tuesday

The service for Tracy last night was beautiful and went really well.  Saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a very long time.  A sad occasion, but still good to connect with people!  Tony is leaving today so we're going to lunch soon and then it's back home to begin taking down fall decorations and putting up Christmas decorations.  My cousin, Marleen and her daughter Alyssa (from California) are staying until Wednesday and they volunteered to help with the decorating - yay!  Not sure I would have been very motivated if they hadn't been here :)

Have a wonderful day!

Tracy Ann (Stoddart) Primozich

March 26, 1975—October 15, 2015

Tracy Ann (Stoddart) Primozich, age 40, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, formerly of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Ohio.
Tracy was born in Grand Junction, Colorado to Charley and Becky (Long) Stoddart.  She was a graduate of Grand Junction High School, class of 1993.  She graduated with her Bachelors in Elementary Education from McPherson College, then spent 3 years with Church of the Brethren Volunteer Service.  She earned her Masters  of Divinity with emphasis in peace studies and youth ministry from Bethany Seminary in 2009.  Beginning in 2011 she was employed as Director of Admissions at Bethany Seminary. She was an ordained Church of the Brethren minister.

Tracy married Anthony Primozich on October 10, 2010.  She loved the outdoors,  photography, camping, working with youth, musicals  and the Denver Broncos.

From the benediction written by Tracy's friend:
Tracy was easy to love.  And she made us feel loved:  loved by God, connected to others, and loved by this gracious, open, and kind soul.  We know intellectually that death comes to us all in one form or another, but losing the light that is Tracy Primozich is difficult.

In the Gospel of John, it states “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  He was in the beginning with God.  All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being.  What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people.  The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”

Tracy’s light is not lost.  Her light is in each of us.  Her light is in the world.  In all that we do, in all the ways we love, may Tracy’s light shine on.

The card - super simple one.  The leaf is a die cut (Tim Holtz) that I cut from some Tim Holtz patterned paper.  I then crumpled it up a bit and popped it up on the card front.  I added some grunge behind the leaf and sponged the edges of the panel.  Added some string and a sentiment.

Off to a meeting this morning - working out some details for Tracy's service.

Have a great day!

Photo Saturday - at Corn Lake

It's cold!  I think that means it's time to put the flip flops away (darn!) and exchange the short-sleeve shirts in the closet for the long sleeve ones.  That would be the goal for the day!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - The leaf is a die cut from Tim Holtz.  I cut it out of some printed paper and used the same paper for the strip down the side.  The small panel is stamped with craft with a script background and then I drew the black line around the edge with a fine marker.

Well, I've procrastinated long enough - I have class tomorrow night so I think that means I really do need to get the projects done today!

Have a wonderful day!
