Ah....a free day.  Oh my, what will I do with myself?  I do need to finish up some paper work from yesterday's party (it was a great party and it was fun meeting some new people!) but the rest of my day is free for.......maybe some stitching, or knitting, or stamping ?????  We'll see.

Project Sunday - a wall hanging I made for a birthday gift.

I ended up with an unexpected afternoon with Hudson yesterday so didn't get any of the things done that I had planned on - and that is entirely ok.  I did finish a wool project last night and started binge watching a new series that a friend loaned me, so all is good!   Today I may have Hudson again for the afternoon, so haven't really made any other plans....I'm good with that :)

Ended up with Hudson yesterday and then had him overnight - yay!  Fun, as always.  I just dropped him at the babysitters, so now I need to try and get something accomplished I guess.  Too many things to do, don't know where to start :)

The card - sorry about the shadow...the scanner doesn't like bling :(   Just another simple winter snowflake.  The background is a corner embossing folder and I just added a die cut snowflake and then a punched smaller snowflake on top.

Yesterday didn't end up quite as planned, as Sara got called into work and I ended up with Hudson after all.  We spent some time with his other Grandma and had a fun day!  But, the chores I had planned on doing certainly didn't get done - I may be able to get a few done this morning, but will be spending the afternoon at Hi Fashion stitching (more fun anyway!)

The card - more snowflakes.  I just added some popped up, punched snowflakes to the embossed snowflake background.  An added sentiment, some ribbon and a little bling were finishing touches.

The card - used another new die cut I just got.  (can you tell I'm trying to get Thank you cards done?)  It's a simple card, just the die cut, a sentiment and some ribbon, but rather elegant. 

Whew!  Have to say I'm rather glad the holidays are over.  I had a wonderful time and loved every minute, but I'm ready for some 'regular' life!  I have one goal for this coming year and that is to 'FOCUS"!  I haven't done well at that for the last couple of years, which was only to be expected, but I'm feeling the need to be a little more in control and I have a lot of things I want to accomplish (crafty things mostly!)  So, today I must focus and get started on a long list of things I want to get done!  (or at least make a plan!)
