The card - snowflakes are from SU. The small panel is popped up on the embossed panel. Colors are Indigo and smoky slate.
Didn't plan on having to shovel snow this morning, but it looks like that's going to be my first job! Then I have a few errands to run, so it looks like I will have to venture out in the cold today.
Have a terrific day!

The card - snowflake are from SU. I stamped them in a variety of colors, added some ribbon, some bling and a sentiment. Pretty darn easy!I saw this saying on facebook a few days ago and it pretty much sums it up right now: I don't know if I've got some free time, or if I just forgot what the hell I'm supposed to be doing. I guess I'll just go with the flow and enjoy the 'quiet time'.
Have a great day!

The card - just some snowmen stamped on an embossed panel. I added just a bit of color here and there with markers.
Not a lot happening today. It is my daughter-in-law's birthday so I am going to their house for dinner tonight. And I do have a couple of errands to do. But......I guess I really should think about straightening up the garage - there's still Christmas decorations kind of scattered all over. Hmmm...maybe.

Project Sunday - this is the pottery bowl that I painted last week when Eileen and I went to Angelos. It was so much fun we're going again!
That's the plan for today I think. We're going to breakfast and then we're off to Angelos to paint another 'masterpiece' - haha! But, I was actually pleased with the way my bowl came out so I want to try another one in a different color combination.
A disclaimer: the picture from yesterday is NOT my house. I was lucky I got one strand of lighted greenery put out on my front porch - even on normal years I don't have much in the way outside lights - I have no outside electrical outlet, so I'm limited as to what I can do! That was just one of the houses we saw on our tour of the Christmas lights on Christmas Eve.
Have a wonderful day!

Photo Saturday - Christmas lights
I hope everyone had a marvelous Christmas. We had a very nice Christmas and it was also a very white one - it snowed off and on all day. Very pretty - but lots of shoveling. And of course it's very cold. I plan on staying indoors today and actually taking down the Christmas decorations. I am feeling the need to get back to some sort of 'normal'.
Have a great day!

The card - stamped images are from SU. The background splotches are smoky slate, the snowflakes are black. The trees are stamped with honey and black, punched out and popped up.
Only fun stuff to do today! Eileen and I are going to breakfast in a bit, then a little shopping. Jeff, Sara, Sara's Mom and I will be going to dinner tonight and then a drive around town to look at Christmas lights will finish off the evening. Looking forward to a fun. relaxing day and evening!
Have a wonderful Christmas Eve!

The card - stamped images are from SU. I embossed the trees with white on navy. The background speckles are just stamped with white ink on the navy. The sentiment is embossed with white on smoky slate.
A few last minute things to take care of today - have a few gifts to wrap, a stamping mess to clean up and then I think I'm ready for just having fun!
Have a great day!
Tuesday, December 22, 2015
The card - I used the woodland embossing folder from SU - embossed the piece of kraft, then sponged some white on top and stamped a few snowflakes here and there with white.
Time for a haircut today, need to make more peanut brittle and then I'm having dinner out with a friend tonight.
Have a great day!
Monday, December 21, 2015
The card - stamped images are from SU. I stamped the trees in green, then sponged just a bit of marina mist below the tree line. I stamped before I embossed!
Just a couple of errands to do today and a couple batches of peanut brittle to make. It really feels like there's something important that I'm forgetting to do - hmmmm - I hope not!
Have a great day!

Project Sunday - finished this pillow yesterday.
I got my Christmas cards done and finished the pillow for a gift so today I get to play. My friend Eileen and I are going to breakfast and then we're either going to paint some pottery or do some stitching. Yay - a little fun is called for :)
Have a terrific day!

I ended up getting a lot of little errands done yesterday - yay! Now I have a totally free day today, so hopefully I can keep the momentum going and finish up a bit a shopping and make it to the post office. That's my goal anyway!
Have a wonderful day!
Tuesday, December 15, 2015
The card - some how this one looked better in real life......but, it is what it is. Just some trees stamped on some printed paper with a sentiment. Easy peasy.
Had a lunch today but it got cancelled, so now I have the day to get some chores done. And I need to get ready for class tonight.
Have a wonderful day.

Photo Sunday - on the Colorado National Monument
Looks like I had no idea what day it was yesterday - duh. Oh well, that's just the way it is these days :) I do know today is Sunday and it's time for Black Sheep Sunday. So, I will be meeting Deb for breakfast in just a bit and then we'll be spending the day stitching. It's the Christmas Party for Black Sheep too, so it should be a fun day!
Have a great day!
Saturday, December 12, 2015
The card - stamped images are from SU. The trees on the punched circle are stamped with black and smoky slate. Another super simple one.
Hmmm.....I still don't have those darn class projects done. I got totally sidetracked yesterday and ended up making 3 batches of peanut brittle. At least the day wasn't a total waste :) But, today I really do need to figure out those projects!
Have a terrific day!

The card - another super simple one. Some patterned paper on top, a couple of punched out snowflakes, some ribbon and a sentiment. Can't get much easier than that!
Meeting an old friend from high school for lunch today. It will be nice to catch up! Then I need to figure out the class projects for next week! And sometime soon I need to figure out Christmas gifts!
Have a great day!
Wednesday, December 9, 2015
The card - super simple - banner is made with patterned paper with some added ribbon. Anyone remember the very old SU set that the 'joy' came from? This was one of my all time favorite sets, so I decided to use it! The square was stamped with cherry cobbler, trimmer leaving a border of white and then mounted on cherry cobbler and popped up.
One of our stitching groups is meeting today - we're meeting here at my house and I plan on serving the left-overs from last night to them for lunch - now that is called efficient entertaining :) I do have to get things cleaned up a bit from last night though, so I better get to work on that!
Have a great day!

The card - stamped images and window die cut are all from SU. I'm not sure why the sky looks so green, but it is actually more blue in real life. The images are stamped on the card front and then the window is popped up on top.
The class projects are done, cut and bagged and ready for class tomorrow night - whew! Now it's time to go to the store and get food and get the mess I've made picked up!
Have a terrific day!

Photo Saturday - big horn sheep on Colorado National Monument. In all the years I've been going up to the monument I had never seen the big horn sheep, but.... when Tony and I went up last week, we went around a corner and there was at least a dozen of them on the road and beside the road. It was quite exciting to finally see them!
I'm getting down to the wire now, it's time to get serious about the class projects for next week. My goal is to get them done today - I'm going to try and not leave the house or get distracted by something else today! (which is what has happened the last couple of days!)
Have a great day!

The card - stamped images are from SU. The center panel is popped up. The strip down the side is patterned paper. The flowers are punched out and popped up.
I am going to try to get started on class projects for next week. But......I have a repairman coming this morning to look at my washing machine - it's making really awful noises and I have to run a couple of errands at some point. I am really looking forward to Friday night crafting - it's been way too long!
Have a great day!
Thursday, December 3, 2015
The card - leaves are from SU, stamped with brown ink on kraft paper, cut out and popped up on top of the punched out circle. I also added a bit of grunge to the circle. Strip across the bottom is patterned paper. Colors are kraft, white and black.
Time to regroup. All the company is gone and it's time to try and get back to some sort of normalcy here. Although trying to do that during the holidays is probably not going to work out all that well. But I'm going to try :) I thought I'd be able to stay in today and get the laundry done and chores done around the house, but I forgot I have a stitching group this afternoon - so, I will do what I can this morning and enjoy my time with the Wool Gatherer's group this afternoon!
Have a wonderful day!

We're doing a little shopping downtown today and then I'll be taking my company to the airport this afternoon. Oh my, the house is going to be all quiet later today - ick - I don't like that part when company leaves :(
Have a great day!

Sorry, my computer is acting really weird this morning and I can't seem to get a picture in this post. Were going to be working on getting some Christmas decorations up today and then do a few errands. Having company for dinner tonight (chicken and Noodles) too, so hopefully the house will be sort of put together by then :) I will have to figure out this photo thing later.
Have a wonderful day!

Photo Sunday - from our drive over the Colorado National Monument on Tuesday
The service for Tracy last night was beautiful and went really well. Saw a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a very long time. A sad occasion, but still good to connect with people! Tony is leaving today so we're going to lunch soon and then it's back home to begin taking down fall decorations and putting up Christmas decorations. My cousin, Marleen and her daughter Alyssa (from California) are staying until Wednesday and they volunteered to help with the decorating - yay! Not sure I would have been very motivated if they hadn't been here :)

March 26, 1975—October 15, 2015
Tracy Ann (Stoddart) Primozich, age 40, of Yellow Springs, Ohio, formerly of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away on Thursday, October 15, 2015 in Ohio.
Tracy was born in Grand Junction, Colorado to Charley and Becky (Long) Stoddart. She was a graduate of Grand Junction High School, class of 1993. She graduated with her Bachelors in Elementary Education from McPherson College, then spent 3 years with Church of the Brethren Volunteer Service. She earned her Masters of Divinity with emphasis in peace studies and youth ministry from Bethany Seminary in 2009. Beginning in 2011 she was employed as Director of Admissions at Bethany Seminary. She was an ordained Church of the Brethren minister.
Tracy married Anthony Primozich on October 10, 2010. She loved the outdoors, photography, camping, working with youth, musicals and the Denver Broncos.
From the benediction written by Tracy's friend:
Tracy was easy to love. And she made us feel loved: loved by God, connected to others, and loved by this gracious, open, and kind soul. We know intellectually that death comes to us all in one form or another, but losing the light that is Tracy Primozich is difficult.
In the Gospel of John, it states “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being. What has come into being in him was life, and the life was the light of all people. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not overcome it.”
Tracy’s light is not lost. Her light is in each of us. Her light is in the world. In all that we do, in all the ways we love, may Tracy’s light shine on.

Off to a meeting this morning - working out some details for Tracy's service.
Have a great day!
