The card - flowers are from SU.  I don't usually stamp black flowers, but just decided to do something a bit different.  Liked the black and cream.  The cream panel is matted with black and popped up on top of the printed paper.

Cold, rainy and dreary today - good day for some inside chores.  Then I will need to get ready for class tonight.

Project Sunday - here is the Bronco rag quilt I finished this week.  I was making this one for Hudson, but I might have to make another one for me!

Had such fun yesterday checking out the nurseries in town.  I got some great ideas for some things I want to put in my yard this year.  Now to just wait a bit for it to get warm enough to plant :)

The card - sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, flower and leaves are from Altenew.  The leaves are stamped directly on the panel, the flower is stamped, cut out and popped up.

The card - just a balloon punch and some fun patterned paper.  The balloons are popped up and I drew the strings with a fine line pen and added some string bows.

I probably should finish up the laundry today and I probably should finish swapping out the winter clothes for the summer ones - but....it's still kind of wintry some days.  I think I started just a bit early on that project!  Maybe I'll wait just a bit longer :)

Project Sunday - an Easter mat that is part of a free monthly pattern that we get at Black Sheep Sunday each month.

I ended up helping my neighbor with some yard work yesterday and today I am stiff and sore - used some muscles I haven't used in a while.  It's still rather cold and dreary outside so I'm going to stay in and work on putting some stitching projects together so they are ready to stitch!

The card - another flower from Altenew.  The sentiment is from SU.  When I stamp these flowers and leaves I just use my SU ink and pick three (or four) shades of whatever color I want the flower to be.  If I don't have three shades of a color I may just use two and stamp off to make it lighter.

The card - I bought another set of Altenew stamps - this one is called Vintage Flowers.  The flowers and leaves are cut out and one of the roses and the sentiment is popped up.  The background is a stencil that I sponged.

Grandma time this morning, then I'm meeting my visitors for lunch before they take off for home.  I will miss having them around - it's been a fun 4 days!

Project Sunday - here's the baby blanket I made a couple weeks ago.  Whew - decided working with that 'minky stuff' is not for me - very messy!
