The card - stamp is from SU (Of the Earth) - inked with markers (celery & regal rose) Label shapes are from nestabilities.
A fun day today - Judy S and I are going to Delta for lunch and a little retail (scrapbooking) therapy. Yay!
Enjoy your day!
The card - a little bit of a distressed look. Used some basic grey paper for the background, stamped some flower images with sahara sand. Script is also stamped with sahara sand. Added a butterfly and sentiment - card is kraft.
Finishing up some things I started yesterday. I was hoping it would be nice enough to get outside with the weed spray, but the forecast is calling for wind - dang! I was hoping to get a head start on those weeds.
Have a wonderful day.
The card - chocolate and baja - I finally used one of those little 7 Gypsies keys that I've been hoarding for so long.
Household chores today - the laundry basket is over flowing so it must be time to do laundry. I might even be able to multi-task and get some other things taken care of today too! What a concept.
Enjoy your day!
Scrappin' Sunday - 'In Memory' A week ago Friday we had the dog put down - it was time, but it hit me a little harder than I expected. I miss our morning walks.
Hope you are having a great weekend.
Photo Saturday - 'here comes Peter Cottontail' - this rabbit decided to make my yard it's new home. I swear, it's the biggest rabbit I have ever seen in my life! It hung around all week, yesterday animal control came and picked it up.
I need a break from dealing with microwaves, chasing rabbits and doing paper work so I plan to escape to my stamp room today and spend the day stamping.
Have a wonderful day!

The card - leaf stamp is from Papertrey - butterflies are die cut from SU. Colors are melon mambo and celery.
I have to go shop for a new microwave this morning - mine just up and crashed the other night. So, that's my plan for this morning. Looking forward to some stampin' time with Emily this evening.
Have a great day!

The card - butterfly dies (SU) and just a bit of stamping. Colors are sage and white. The top butterfly was cut out of vellum.
I have quite a lot of things I want to get done today, so armed with my 'to do list' I will be off to do errands and then home to do chores around the house.
Have a wonderful day!

Scrappin' Sunday - this is a quick digital page I did (with MDS from SU) to show you some pictures of Jeff having his head shaved.
Today - um.....I have no idea what I'm going to do today. Have a ton of stuff I need to get done in the next couple of weeks, but no idea where to start. Maybe I'll just think about it today and make a plan.
Happy scrappin'
The finished project - Tracy's Save the Date cards. It's a postcard and all digital - no stamping. Pretty simple and straight forward.
Looking forward to a full day of scrappin' with The Good Time Girls today. Have pictures from Rifle Falls and Jeff getting his head shaved, plus New Year's Day so I should have plenty to keep me busy.
Have a great weekend!

The card - stamps are from SU (Garden From the Heart). I stamped the image with chocolate, colored the leaves with celery, then added some peach flower soft. Fun stuff.
Yesterday I went to watch my son Jeff get his head shaved. He did it as a fund-raiser for children's cancer research. He raised over $1500 - good job Jeff! I should have some great pictures to scrapbook!
Today I need to get things set up for class tonight and I think maybe it's time to take the winter decorations down in the house. (I should at least get it done before Easter don't ya think) Lovin' this spring-like weather we're having!
Enjoy your day.
The card - stamps are from SU (touch of nature) - colors are melon mambo and mellow moss. Butterfly is cut out and popped up.
Wow - I have a totally free day day today - no commitments, no appointments, no classes. Oh my - what shall I do? Of course there is a ton of stuff I need to do, but I'm thinking I will go with something fun - I just got some new stamps, so I think I will end up playing with those today.
Have a great day!

The card - stamp is from SU - colors are saffron, celery and melon mambo. Butterfly is Martha Stewart punch.
I seem to have made a mess in every room in the house over the weekend - my goodness - so I think I'll try to get things straightened up a bit. The Save the Date cards are done and ready for stamps - that means a trip to the Post Office. And class tonight. Guess that's enough to keep me busy today.
Enjoy your day!
Photo Saturday - a picture of Rifle Falls from last weekend. I do so want to go back in the summer (and/or fall) when all the vegetation would be much prettier. But I love waterfalls, so it was still worth the trip!
Today I am going to try and finish up several unfinished projects. Have to put the finishing touches on my rag purse (we had great fun with those yesterday) and get some stamping done too!
Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

The card - the flower (SU) is stamped with Basic Grey, colored with blender pen (celery & saffron). (this is one of those times when the flowers look a LOT better in real life) Side is embossed with cuttlebug border embossing folder. Cardstock colors are celery & saffron.
Lots going on today - first I need to get my stamp room cleaned up (not sure how I can make such a mess doing one card!) Deb is coming over this afternoon and we are going to try our hand at making rag purses. (my sewing machine hasn't been used in so long that I only hope it still works) Then Emily and Sherry are joining us later for our regular Friday night stamping. Woo hoo! A totally fun day. (well, except for the cleaning up part)
Have a fabulous day.
The card - stamps are from Vintage Vogue (SU) Large flower is stamped on white and embossed with white. Colors are kraft, soft suede and vanilla.
We have our monthly shoebox club tonight and I don't have my project done - oh my - guess what I will be doing today. (I really tried to get it done yesterday, but it was one of those days when I couldn't get anything to come our right!)
Enjoy your day!

The card - stamp is from Verve - stamped with Wasabi. Leaf embossing folder from Quickutz. Added a dragonfly brad.
The weather report says more snow/rain for the next several days. Ugh! Not very spring-like here. Off to get set up for class this morning, hopefully get some chores done this afternoon and then class again tonight.
Enjoy your day!
The card - flowers are from For All You Do (SU). Colors are groovy guava and olive.
Lots of stuff I would like to get done today - but before I can start on the fun stuff I must get the card class kits bagged. (I did get them all cut last night!) If I can get those done this morning I plan to spend some time stamping - Judy S got me back in the groove yesterday. It's a good day to stay inside and stamp since it's pouring rain at the moment.
Have a great day!
Looking forward to stamping this afternoon with Judy S. Hopefully I will actually get some cards done - I seem to be out of the groove lately!
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend.
I'm going to take some time today to play with some of the stuff I got at The Scrappy Moose in Delta on Wednesday - new stamps and some fun stuff called Flower Soft. I'm anxious to try the Flower Soft stuff - have only seen it online and it looks very cool.
Have a wonderful day!

The card - more Go Green (SU) The card is vanilla, accents are kraft and artichoke. Label shape is from nestabilities.
Looking forward to Stamp Club with Sherry tonight. I'm the hostess so I'm baking cookies today - it's been a long while since I made cookies from scratch, so here's hoping I haven't forgotten how!
Enjoy your day.

The card - background stamp and thanks are from Hero Arts - flowers are Penny Black. Butterfly is Martha Stewart punch. Colors are chocolate and ruby red.
Wow - can you believe the temp yesterday was 52! And sunshine! Love it! Most of the snow in my yard has melted - just a few spots left here and there. It's supposed to be in the 40's the rest of the week - that will be a nice change from 20's & 30's. Yea!
A little note for Peg - Get Well Soon!
Enjoy your day!
