Making progress - yay!  The winter decor is up.  The mess is still in the garage, but that's ok for now!  Today is mostly getting ready for tomorrow.  Dinner here so need to do some food prep and get the house cleaned (more or less) and a couple of last minute errands.   A quiet evening at home for me after an early dinner out with family.  (celebrating daughter-in-law's birthday!) .

Aw, a day without children.  No commitments.  Of course there is a mess in almost every room from trying to take down the Christmas stuff and put up the winter decor.  I probably should try to get that all taken care of today!   (But, playing has been so much more fun!)  I'll work on cleaning it up today!

Christmas Eve - presents to wrap and a trip to the store for a couple of last minute items for dinner tomorrow.  I may try to make some more peanut brittle but that's a maybe.  Tonight it's our usual chili dinner at Jeff's and then driving around looking at Christmas lights.  A pretty laid back day!

Had a great first day of winter break yesterday!  Hudson made a gingerbread house, we had a 3 hour Sorry marathon (Hudson won 5 games to my 3!), we went to see Santa after picking up Ethan (Ethan wasn't impressed and didn't want anything to do with it!), had dinner out and then Christmas movies before bed!  I'd say we made the most of the day!  Not sure what we're doing today.  We'll figure it out!

I didn't get nearly all the chores done yesterday - Jeff and the boys were here hanging my tv on the wall and setting up my new phone.  (Christmas gift!)  Somehow that ended up taking a good part of the day so.........   But, that's ok.  Time spent with them is always better than doing chores :)   Looks like today will be chore day!  The Christmas decorating is pretty much done so now the boxes and such need to be put away in the garage - that's the main thing on my list today!

Oh my, a free day!  Not sure what to do with myself - LOL.  I made quite the mess with Christmas decorations and I guess I should start by getting the mess(es) cleaned up!  I'm hoping the frigid temperature will warm up enough for me to venture outside and get the decorating done out there.  We'll see!  There's plenty to do, that's for sure :)
