Too much fun!!!! We pretty much covered the entire spectrum of crafting shops yesterday - wool shops, stamping store, scrapbook stores and knitting (yarn) store. I'm so excited about my new stash of pretty wool.........
Today will be a nice, laid back, relaxing day. We're staying home and crafting the entire day! Couldn't ask for a better way to spend my birthday.
Enjoy your day!

Well, I only got one of the things done yesterday that I had planned on. Got the grocery shopping done and that was it. Not sure why, but I had absolutely no energy yesterday - spent most of the day reading a book. Guess I needed a rest. Hopefully I can get a little more accomplished today.
Have a great day!

Project Sunday - this is just one of several sample Save the Date ideas I made for Jeff & Sara to choose from. I did this in SU's MDS.
We're celebrating Deb & Emily's birthday tonight - that means chicken and noodles for dinner. That also means I need to get the mess cleaned up that I made last night trying to get birthday gifts finished.
Have a great day!

The wedding was held at this lovely home of freinds of Tracy & Tony's. The yard was beautiful although we thought the trees would have been a little more colorful, it didn't really matter. It was a great place for a wedding. Jeff, Sara & I were privileged to be house guests here - it was great! Ben & Becca were great hosts!
The Bride - what else can I say. I was a little teary at some parts of the day but restrained myself from sobbing :) I got to help her get dressed and found myself a little teary as I was doing up the buttons on her dress! And of course there were parts of the ceremony that left me a little teary! But Tracy was oh so beautiful and the ceremony was awesome. They did a great job planning the wedding!
The happy couple. I am so happy for them both. Tony is a great guy and I'm glad he's now 'officially' a part of our family!Sunday, September 12, 2010
Scrappin' Sunday - a quick digital page with some random pictures from our drive over Grand Mesa yesterday. I used SU's My Digital Software - one of the features I like in this program is that you can 'color match' things to your photo - i.e.-I matched the colored strips to parts of the photos on this page.
What a great day we had yesterday! It was a gorgeous day for a drive! The colors are just beginning to change on the Mesa so we got a little of the 'summer look' along with a bit of fall. To make our day complete we had time to stop at The Scrappy Moose in Delta - Hi Carol! Have to apologize for interrupting Carol's class, but she got me inspired by the project she was teaching - (spent way more than my budget!) but I have some cool new 7 Gypsies stuff to play with!
Today I'm going to get a little yard work done, then finish up some projects while I watch the football game - Go Broncos!
Happy scrappin'

Scrappin' Sunday - a digital page. This was a template that I downloaded for SU's digital software (MDS). All I had to do was drag and drop the picture. How easy is that! (I wish I had changed the colored strip to blue though - think it would have looked better with the picture.
More yard work today.

Enjoy your day!
