I didn't get very far on class projects yesterday - maybe I can do better this morning.  But this afternoon my friend Eileen is coming over for some stitching time, so the class projects will just have to wait :)

The card - stamped images are a combination of grunge stamps from SU and Papertrey Ink.  The yellow checked strip is washi tape.  The circle image is stamped, cut out and popped up.

I spent all day yesterday stamping and got quite a stash of cards done - yay!  Now, today I either need to do some more, or get the mess cleaned up.  I really need to think about class projects for June, so I may move on to that today.

The card -  stamped image is from Papertrey Ink.  The sentiment is the main focus of this card, but I added a couple of flagged pieces and a candy dot to add some color.  Colors are bermuda bay and calypso coral.

Had a wonderful day yesterday - we didn't get into any trouble, but it was a great day of fun and relaxation and the sun was shining which was a definite mood enhancer :)  I think we're supposed to have more sunshine today which will be nice!!!  I really need to start thinking about what needs to be done - I will be leaving for a vacation in a couple of weeks and there is a lot that has to be done before then.  I better get started.

Off for a play day today.  Judy S and I are going to Delta for lunch - yay!  We'll try to stay out of trouble, but it's been forever since we've had a day away, so it might be hard :)

Project Sunday - here's the 'work of art' we painted last night at 'The Palette' downtown.  It was a fun evening.  (my 'C' could use a little help - that was a hard one for me to do without a pattern :)

And we're off for a day of stitching today - it's time for our Black Sheep Sunday gathering.  Looking forward to a fun day.

The card - balloon punch is from Martha Stewart.  I sponged the background paper (from SU) with Bermuda Bay.  The strings on the balloons are drawn with a black pen.  Added some jewels and a sentiment.  

My biggest job today is going to be a trip to the grocery store.  Other than that I just will be looking forward to our Friday night crafting.  Oh, and I did get the garage straightened up - feeling good that I got that job done :)

The card - dug out some really, really old CTMH paper for this card - the stamp is pretty darn old too!  But the sentiment is fairly new.  It all worked when I put it together :)

I've put it off long enough - I am really going to work on straightening up the garage today. It's driving me nuts, so that means it's time to do something about it!

I didn't get any work done in the garage yesterday - it was actually quite cold out there and I just couldn't talk myself into it - maybe today, we'll see.

OK, enough with the rain already.  Geez, I think we're going to float away and my poor flowers are getting water logged!  I guess we do need the moisture, but enough is enough.     I think I'm going to try and motivate myself to get the garage cleaned up a bit today - I've managed to make a mess out there so it's time to put some stuff away.

Finished up all but one of the class projects yesterday - yay! If it would stop raining for long enough I'd like to get the rest of my flowers planted :)  Actually, I'm looking forward to a nice, relaxing day and then dinner with Jeff and Sara.

A big stitching day - the schedule got changed around a bit this month so we ended up with two different events in one day.  This afternoon we'll be working on our 'block of the month' and then tonight we'll be at our Wool Gatherer's club.  A busy day and I should get lots accomplished :)

Project Sunday - my April 'Block of the Month'

Yard work today - Jeff and my friend Eileen are coming over and we're tearing out the planter in the front.  The poor thing is falling apart and I'm ready for a different look.  Eileen is going to take the rocks and use them in her yard - yay!  So, lots of work going on today.

Well, I managed to get my potting bench put together yesterday - it was a bit awkward to do by myself, but I managed and so far it hasn't fallen apart :)  I have some flowers I want to get planted today.  Looking forward to Friday night crafting!
