Halloween!

The card - a super easy Halloween card!  Strips are washi tape.  Spider and sentiment are stamped in black.  Added some twine.  

Snow!  Yuk!  Not much here, but the eastern part of state is getting slammed.  It's cold - they say the coldest October in history.  Not my favorite time of year :(   So, today I will stay inside and work on doing some cleaning.  Now doesn't that sound exciting?  Oh, and by the way, I've finished one sock!  Yay!  Now I just have to get the other one done!

The card - I stamped some leaves (SU) in the background down the left side by stamping off to make them lighter.  Leaves and grunge background on the small panel are stamped full strenth.

Knitting class this morning (get to finish my sock hopefully!) and stitching with friends tonight.

The card - I die cut a rectangle and used the opening to sponge the background.  Added some grunge, leaves (SU) and a sentiment.  Easy peasy!

No big plans for the day - need to get my stuff organized for an all day retreat tomorrow - not sure what to take to work on.   Friday night crafting tonight!

The seasonal clothes are finally taken care of - yay!  So sad that it was time to put away the flip flops!  Plus we got to take a trip to the pumpkin patch yesterday -  Hudson was so excited and it was great fun!

A few chores this morning and then it's time for some fun at Laura's this afternoon.   Working on my socks today!   Line dancing class tonight!

A little sales pitch here.....if you are local and you ever want to learn how to knit, or need a refresher, or just need some help, you need to go to  Black Sheep Handorx Studio and ask for Ann!  She is a marvelous teacher and I swear can help you fix anything!  I'm sure I'm going to need her help with any pair of socks I make (they are confusing!).  I'm moving on to the next step of my socks....we'll see how this week's homework goes :)

Lots of chores to get done today!  I still haven't managed to get the seasonal clothes swapped out in my closet.  That is my goal today!

Need to finish up the closet stuff.  I managed to get all the summer stuff out of the closet....that's it.  Now it's piled all over the spare room and the utility room is a mess of fall/winter stuff.  Hmmm.  Guess I better get it all put away!  It's a sad, sad, day when I have to put the flip flops away!  :(   (maybe I should leave one or two pair out...just in case!)
