The card - I die cut an oval from the center of a panel and then embossed it.  I stamped some 'stripes' with a grunge stamp on the front of the card and then popped up the panel over the top.  Added some flowers and a couple of leaves and a sentiment.  

'Grandma time' today, Friday night crafting tonight.  All is good!

The card - the sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink.  I stamped and then embossed it with white and then stamped the background over it.  I used a grunge stamp and spritzed it with water before stamping to get more of a watercolor look.

Had a great group of ladies here last night for a Thirty-One get together.  Lots of laughter - it was fun!  Now this morning I need to get the house straightened up and then I will be off for an afternoon of stitching at Inspirations.  Then a friend is coming over tonight for some more stitching - yay!  I should get lots accomplished today!

For tonilea - aww...thank you so much for the comment yesterday!  I am glad I can be an inspiration to you - how sweet you are!  A little explanation for you - Grand  Junction is in the western part of Colorado, very close to the Utah border.  I love it!  And, yes I always look forward to having my Grandson - I'm probably a bit more attached because he was born just a few months after my daughter passed away suddenly.  He has been my life-line the past two years.  (well, along with his Dad, my son)  Life is precious and I try to make the most of it 😊  Today would have been my daughter's 43rd birthday.  I miss her a lot!  

Project Sunday - another winter project.  This one is also waiting for inspiration on finishing - frame, wall hanging, etc.  

Had an extra day of 'Grandma time' yesterday, so had a fun day instead of getting any work done - haha - works for me!  Now, today, I really should try to get something accomplished!  We'll see how ambitious I am!

The card - a new embossing folder on the background (from Cuttlebug) and the tulip is a new set I just got from Papertrey Ink.  A simple enough card, but I do like it!  (that background is kraft, looks darker in the scan!)

Project Sunday - finished this piece a couple weeks ago.  I think I want to put it in a frame so I have to look for one the right size.  (my rule is to buy the frame first - duh....forgot!)

The card - kind of an old layout, but it just appealed to me!  Nothing special - the flowers are punched out of patterned paper and adheared to the squares.  The squares are popped up.

The card - lots of grunge going on here!  Have to say, this one is not my favorite, but it's ok.  That diamond shape is a new SU punch though and I really like it!

I ended up with some extra 'Grandma time' yesterday - the babysitter was sick.  It was a bit of an adventure having him when we were trying to do a knitting class, but it was ok.  Now, today I need to get caught up on stuff I was going to do yesterday, plus today's chores.  Hmm....not sure how that will turn out.  I seem to have caught a bit of a head cold too, so not really feeling too energetic this morning.  Nothing happening today that can't wait though, so here's just hoping for the best!
