Almost the entire house is now clean - I say almost because I still have to do some cleaning in the laundry room and the classroom.  But, since I'm in the mood I thought maybe I'd finish up those rooms today and maybe get a start on doing some organizing in the classroom.  Would really like to get rid of some excess stuff - we'll see how far I get!

The card - background is an old script stamp I found in my drawer.  Butterflies and flowers are from SU.  The background is stamped with kraft, the flowers are stamped on top.  The butterflies are stamped, punched out and popped up.  Flowers are olive and blackberry.

Still haven't caught the mouse, but, I haven't seen it either.  Don't know if I scared it off or what.  I guess I'll put the stuff away in the kitchen and hope for the best.  Maybe I can also get the rest of the house cleaned today.  That would be a good thing!

Project Sunday - July's 'block of the month'

Well, the house still isn't clean.  Discovered I have a mouse in my kitchen.  So, I spent the entire day cleaning out the bottom cupboards and the drawers and washing everything in them.  I put a bunch of mousetraps around, but low and behold, I didn't catch a mouse last night.  Now I don't want to put everything back until I catch the darn thing.  Ugh - I hate mice!

The card - stamped images are from SU.  The clouds are stamped with smoky slate, punched out and popped up.  I punched a couple of extra clouds from vellum that are tucked behind.  I stamped the sun with daffodil and then added a punched circle in the center.

No plan for today - oh, oh, that usually means that I end up getting nothing accomplished.  Maybe I better come up with a plan :)   I do have to get ready for class tonight, so that's a start.

The card - leaf stem is from Hero Arts, flip flops are from Papertrey.  I punched out an oval on a separate piece of card stock and used it as a mask to sponge the oval area onto the panel.  

Hmmm....I had planned on doing a bit of yard work this morning....it's raining......not sure where that came from.  Maybe it won't last long and I can proceed with my original plan.  Guess we'll see....I may have to revise my plan.

Project Sunday - June's 'Block of the Month'

I still didn't get around to do any stamping yesterday - I ended up just having a 'do nothing' kind of day.  Read a book, took a nap, watched some tv - basically a really lazy day.  Today, I'm ready for some action...ha ha!  But I am looking forward to going to breakfast with my friend Eileen and then spending the afternoon stitching.

Well, for the first time ever I had to postpone tonight's class because I don't have the projects done.  I tried, and tried, but everything I tried to do ended up in the trash.  Not a good stamping week.  So, everyone was very understanding and we'll do tonight's class another time.  So today I'm taking a break from the whole stamping thing and I'm going to spend the afternoon at a stitching class.  I should have better luck with that since I don't have to be the least bit creative - yay!

The card -  just a little black and white for this one.  The striped piece is just pieces of washi tape.  I put the tape on a piece of white and then simple flagged the end.  The circle is punched out and popped up and then the small banner with the sentiment is added.

Back to work on those class projects - I didn't get even one done yesterday.  Not sure where my mojo is, but nothing was working.  Hope I have better luck today.

It ended up being a bit cooler yesterday morning so I actually went out and did a bit of yard work.  Still have some to do but the rest can wait a day a two.  Now I need to figure out what I'm going to work on this afternoon at our Wool Gatherer's Club.
