The card - The background panel is lightly sponged with a few splotches here and there.  The birds are stamped directly on the background.  The lighthouse is stamped then die cut.  The wheel is die cut.  Both the lighthouse and the wheel are popped up.  

Off to a bbq at Jeff and Sara's today.  (after I make some deviled eggs and get a veggie tray together:)  Should be a nice relaxing day!

Project Sunday - my friend Ann (a part of our Needle Keepers group) made this cute little sleeping bag for a doll.  I don't have a doll in the house so I used this little stuffed lamb for the picture - isn't this just the cutest thing?  

My stamping day yesterday didn't end up being much of a stamping day - got totally sidetracked (I'm quite good at that!).  I did get other stuff done though.  But, I'm going to try again today - I have class projects to finish up!

The card - I was trying to work on some 'guy cards' yesterday.  Got a few done, but wasn't as productive as I hoped.  The background is embossed.  The smaller panel is a die cut.  The background of the die cut is stamped with a background stamp in different colors.  I used the same colors for the strips behind the panel.  The globe image is stamped in black across  the panel.  Added a sentiment at the bottom.

After everyone left yesterday I still managed to get myself motivated to get all the yard work done - mowed the lawn, pulled the weeds, deadheaded some flowers and got it all cleaned up.  Woohoo!  Now, I figure it's a good day to do some stamping!  That's my plan anyway.

'Grandma time' with Ethan again today.  Mostly because Jeff is going to come and take out some very old bushes I have in the yard.  It's going to look a bit bare for awhile because I have no idea what's going to replace them.  But, that's the job for today!

Not sure what is happening today.  Hudson was supposed to have a his own 'Grandma day' today.  But Ethan was sick yesterday and spent the afternoon yesterday sleeping on my lap.  So, I'm not sure if both boys are going to be here today or not.  It's  wait and see I guess!

Had an unexpected overnight with Hudson last night which was fun!  Went to dinner with friends, came home and watched a movie and stayed up way too late :)  But such fun!  Today is getting a bit of prep done for my son's birthday dinner tomorrow night.  And this afternoon a big graduation party for a special friend!  Lots of weekend fun!

The card - flowers (from Altenew) are stamped, die cut and popped up.  (I used the Stamparatus for the flowers and leaves since there is several layers of stamping)  Background has an added strip of patterned paper with a border of black.  

Since the temps are supposed to jump back up to the 80's I think it's time to dig out the short sleeve shirts and the flip flops.  Also need to mow the lawn.  Sounds like enough to keep me busy today!
