Ahhhh.....taking a break from the whole shed thing today.  The cleaning out is all done but Jeff is working on putting up some wire in there to try and keep the birds out.  Today I'm going to try and get some stamping done - gosh, it's been two weeks since I've done any stamping so it's time!

Photo Saturday - I love these Martha Washington geraniums and I buy a different one each year for my patio - I think this one has been my favorite so far.

Whew - I'm rather tired!  But after two full days of physical labor (and 5 trips to the dump!) the shed is almost done (the open part anyway - the enclosed part will have to wait for another day)  It's probably cleaner than it's been in 40 years - now if I can just find a way to keep the darn birds out of there!   Anyone know of a good way to get rid of pigeons???

What I hoped was going to be a one day job has turned into at least a two-day job!  We made a lot of progress yesterday on the shed but still have quite a bit to do.  So, it's back to work on that today.  We're celebrating a friend's birthday tonight so at least I have something fun to look forward to.

My son decided today would be the day we cleaned out the mess in the shed in back of the house.  Ugh - that was really not in my plans for the day, but I've been wanting to get it done for so long that I was not going to take a chance that he would change his mind if I tried to change it to another day.  Hopefully we can get it all done in one day!

The card - this is the card I did for our Shoebox Club a couple of weeks ago.  It's a hybrid card - images are from SU, printed from MDS.  I printed the image, then embossed it (embossing folder also from SU)  The senitment is stamped and popped up.  Colors are indigo, limeade and white.

Yard work today - I've put it off long enough and the weeds are getting a little (more like a lot!) out of control.

 Karen asked about the flooding - and yep, the wash (ditch) in front of my house flooded on Monday night.  Didn't go up and over my bridge, but came close.  It washed away a lot of the ditch bank and I now I have a tree that is sitting right next to a big drop-off.  Not good. 

I am going to try and get some yard work done this morning while there is a break from the rain.  Class tonight.

Never made it out to do any yard work yesterday - it started lightening and raining before I even made it outside.  Weird weather day - at one point I had little frozen balls of hail all over the patio!  I did however, get some class projects done so all is good!  Today though I think I'd better get myself motivated to do some yard work!
