Deb got this card in a swap and I loved the layout so I copied it. I added the swiss dots on the background but the rest is the same.

I had a great stamping day yesterday. It was so nice to do something besides class kits for a change. I finished my Thanksgiving cards plus got several other cards done. Yipee.

I started doing some Christmas cards - I told my daughter Tracy I would be happy to help her out by making some for her (didn't know she needed 70 of them - oh my!) I've had a hard time getting in the mood to do Christmas - do you suppose it's because the weather has been so nice? I really don't want it to be time to do Christmas yet. But it was kind of fun to pull out some old Christmas stamps and see what I could do with them. So I am planning another stamping day today - Roni is coming over tonight so that will keep me motivated.

Happy stampin'

This is a card I did last week when Deb was here. The background is done with the scor-pal, ovals are nestabilities, stamps are from Verve. Colors are chocolate, kraft and Saffron and saraha sand (SU)

Well I managed to finish the last 150 card class kits yesterday - woo hoo! Now I can take a break from cutting and bagging for a few days! I am going to spend the next few days getting Thanksgiving cards finished, work on some cards for the blog and maybe work on a new class project. Way more fun! I think I do need to squeeze in a little laundry and so forth too!

Have a wonderful day!

Wednesday, November 12, 2008

OK - so this color combination is definitely out of my box but rather interesting don't ya think? I copied the layout but changed a couple of things. Butterfly stamp is from Verve.

More class prep today. Boy will I be glad to get that finished. If I can get it all done today I can take a break from cutting and bagging for a couple of weeks. Yea!

Enjoy your day!

Tuesday, November 11, 2008

More fall - colors are SU rust, mustard, chocolate and artichoke. Verve stamp.

Class this morning and again tonight. Better get to work since I don't have the kits ready for either class. Oops.

Happy stampin'

Not much to say about this card - very easy. I did attach the baja breeze piece to the the brown before I did the embossing folder.

Deb and I were both pretty darn productive yesterday. Whew! That's always a good feeling. More class preparation to do today.

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, November 9, 2008

I rather liked this combination of Red, orange and brown. Stamps are from Close to My Heart.
The class in Delta yesterday was quite fun. A nice group of ladies. It's been fun to meet some new scrappers! And of course Carol had some new stuff I just had to buy.
I really have to finish up class projects this morning and then Deb is coming over this afternoon. I am hoping for a productive day!
Have a wonderful day!

Saturday, November 8, 2008

I used just a part of the embossing folder on this card. Also added just a bit of color on the tips of the flower with a blender pen.

I am teaching another class in Delta today so I am off to get my supplies together for that.

Enjoy your weekend.

Friday, November 7, 2008

A simple thank you card. The colors on this card (Soft sky, plum & celery) didn't really photograph well - it actually looks better than it does in the picture.
I think I am going to take a break from class preparation today. I still have a lot to do, but I need a break. So I think I'll work on some cards and maybe do some scrapping tonight.
Have a wonderful day.

Thursday, November 6, 2008

More SU Pocket Silhouettes - used Baja Breeze and chocolate for this one.
Holy cow - it's really cold this morning . Does this mean our beautiful fall is over and winter is here? It sure feels like it.
More class preparation today. Feels like that's all I've been doing - I guess because that is all I've been doing this week. I'm looking forward to Stamp Club with Roni tonight though because that's means a fun evening for me that I don't have to do any preparation for - yea!
Keep warm and have a wonderful day!

Wednesday, November 5, 2008

Another tree card. I liked this layout that I copied a lot. Would work well with a lot of different stamps.

More class preparation today. I'm hoping to get all my work done in the next day or so and then I will be able to do some fun things.

Happy stampin'

Tuesday, November 4, 2008

Red & brown with SU Garden Silhouettes stamp. I used a white pen to add the little white dots. Simple, but nice.

More class preparation today. Looks like it's going to be kind of a dreary day outside. I think we've been rather spoiled with the wonderful fall we've had. But it's been oh so nice!

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, November 3, 2008

Used a Close to My Heart stamp and paper for this card. The flowers are stamped and embossed in white on the printed paper.

Lots of classes this week means lots of class preparation so I'm off to get started on that.

Happy stampin'

Sunday, November 2, 2008

Dug out another old stamp set for this card. I stamped and embossed the flowers with white on rust paper and then cut them out, layered one on top of the other and then popped the whole thing up.

Have a very full week coming up - have to get class projects done today.

Enjoy your day!

Saturday, November 1, 2008

This is a card that Sherry did at Kim C's SU party a while back. I changed it just a tiny bit but pretty much copied the layout - thanks, Sherry!

Sherry and Emily came over to play last night, Judy S is coming over today and Deb is coming over tomorrow! Yea! I should be able to get lots done, right?

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Happy

Halloween

Thursday, October 30, 2008

A simple layout on this card. I had gotten these felt flowers quite a while ago and hadn't used any, so decided to find something I could use them on - think they worked just fine on this card.

It's supposed to be another nice day so I'm planning on getting outside for a little clean up in the yard this afternoon. Need to work on some class projects this morning.

Enjoy your day!

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

I copied the layout for this card from Deb. The stamp is Inkadinkado - stamped with a Kaleidacolor pad.

Paper work today - I must get the piles cleaned off the desk - I think there's bills in there that need to be paid. Duh........ Hopefully a little yard work this afternoon.

Happy stampin'

Tuesday, October 28, 2008

Saw a card online done with this layout and these colors and couldn't resist using them - the leaf stamp is a very old one I found in my stash.
Oh my - I really over slept this morning. I think my body is getting ready for the time change a little early.
I had a productive day yesterday - well, cleaning wise that is. Got the upstairs cleaned and even managed to get some errands done in the afternoon. What a beautiful day it was - can you believe this weather in October? It's awesome. Today I am going to tackle the downstairs - I'm on a roll so might as well make the most of it.
Have a wonderful day!

Monday, October 27, 2008

Something a little different. Used chocolate, soft sky and kraft. I sponged a little chocolate on the embossed background to make the leaves stand out a bit more.

Well, I ended up stamping most of the day yesterday. I'll bet you knew I'd pick that one didn't you? I got lots of cards done so it was a good day.

Today I'm left with all the stuff I didn't do yesterday, so I guess I'm going to tackle the housework.

Happy stampin'

Sunday, October 26, 2008

Another embossing folder card. I was on a roll last week with those.

My class in Delta went very well yesterday. All the ladies were delightful and we had a great time.

Have to make a decision on what to do today - there's cleaning house, doing some yard work, paper work, working on some class projects or just stamping for fun. What do you think? Stay tuned - I'll let you know tomorrow which I picked.

Enjoy your day!

Saturday, October 25, 2008

I think this is my favorite card so far with this embossing folder. Love this paper from Close to My Heart.

I'm teaching a class in Delta today at The Scrappy Moose. I'm a little nervous (well, I am) - it's been a long time since I've taught a class of complete strangers. I can only hope I don't make a complete fool of myself! So, now I must go get everything together and hope I don't forget anything.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Friday, October 24, 2008

Used some new Basic Grey paper and Verve stamps for this card. Pretty simple but I liked the layout.
Have class kits to prepare for a class in Delta tomorrow so that will be my focus for today.
Happy stampin'

Thursday, October 23, 2008

Another card using the same embossing folder as yesterday. Makes a quick and easy card.

Have class tonight and don't have the class kits ready yet so............looks like that is what my project for the day will be.

Enjoy your day!

Wednesday, October 22, 2008

I love this embossing folder - I had been wanting it for a long time, finally got it last week. I made several cards with it on Sunday when Deb was here. The stamped image is from SU - colors are black and mellow moss.

Have a lot to get done today. A lot of odds & ends, laundry, and fun stuff like that. Enough to keep me busy and out of trouble. (translates to b o r i n g !)

Happy Stampin'

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

A very old stamp set - I have had this SU tree set forever but it is still one of my favorites. It makes nice masculine cards which are always hard for me.

I'm feeling a little over whelmed today with everything that needs to be done - not sure where to start. I got a little behind from spending too many days on the sofa last week I guess. Oh well, I'll figure it out - maybe!

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, October 20, 2008

Something a little different. Card is artichoke and saffron - cuttlebug embossing folder on background - butterflies are from Verve.

Deb came over yesterday and we spent the afternoon stamping - we both got a lot done and had fun in the process - yea!

Happy stampin'

Sunday, October 19, 2008

A little pink (Su's new pink) and Upsy Daisy. Pretty easy........ This is one of the last cards I have done so I guess I better get some stamping done today.

I am feeling a little better - think I'm going to live. (I wasn't real sure there for a while) I did try to do a little stamping yesterday, but I wasn't getting much done so hopefully today will be more productive.

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Saturday, October 18, 2008

This layout is one we did in Scrap Class a while back. I just added the pictures.

I have pretty much spent the last two days on the sofa. Wow - whatever bug I got has wiped me out. I think it's just a bad cold - it's been so long since I've had one I forgot what they were like. ( I could have gone a lot longer without knowing)

Enjoy your weekend.

Friday, October 17, 2008

Used the Scor-pal on this card to make the lines on the background. Stamps are Stampin' Up.

I am still not feeling so hot - I don't think I've ever had quite this bad of a cold - or whatever the heck it is. Not fun, that's for sure. I'm hoping it will go away soon!

Enjoy your day!

Thursday, October 16, 2008

This probably isn't one of my favorites - not sure why, but I think it needs something - maybe something on the green background. I do like the layout - maybe you can use it for inspiration and improve on it.

I managed to get some yard work done yesterday afternoon - that is a good thing. It was a beautiful afternoon to be outdoors.

Enjoy your day.

Wednesday, October 15, 2008

Not much to say about this card - very simple. The leaves are from Close to My Heart.

I am really running behind this morning - can you believe I just got up? I can't remember the last time I didn't out of bed til 8:00. I think I have a sinus thing going on - I did get up at 6 - but felt so crappy that I went back to bed. Feel a tad better now, so hopefully this will be gone soon.

Class tonight and have to get the project pieces cut and bagged. Think I'm going to try and get a little yard work done this afternoon.

Happy stampin'

Tuesday, October 14, 2008

Nothing too fancy on this card. Used kraft, artichoke and vanilla. Stamps are Stampin' Up. Scored the background with the Scor-pal.

Class this morning and again tonight. The cold weather over the weekend froze my flowers so need to get some yard work done sometime this week. I'm running out of cards to post so need to find some time to get some stamping done too.

Had Stamp Club with Deb last night - always a fun evening. Great cards - thanks Deb!

Happy stampin'

Monday, October 13, 2008

Tried a little bit of a different color combo with this card. (chocolate, mustard & sage) Not sure it's one of my favorites, but I like the layout. Think I'll have to try this one again. The flower stamp is from Close To My Heart.

Have to get the basement cleaned up today. I sort of dumped some stuff down there when I was de-cluttering upstairs - so now that area is a mess and needs to be tidied up.

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, October 12, 2008

I spent all day yesterday cleaning and re-organizing my work room upstairs. A good part of the day was spent just re-organizing a whole drawer full of embellishments. Here are the before and after pictures.

Yep, quite a mess! I don't usually let it get this bad before I straighten it up but it definitely got out of hand this time!
And now for the "after" pictures.

Quite an improvement, don't ya think?

Have a wonderful day. Happy stampin'

Saturday, October 11, 2008

A layout with pictures from Rocky Mountain National Park.

Sherry came over last night and we both accomplished a great deal. I was working on some cards for a class I am going to teach in Delta and amazingly enough made pretty good progress.

I am in one of my re-organizing modes. My work room upstairs has become so cluttered I can't stand it anymore so............... Today I am going to work on de-cluttering it. This could be quite a project, but I am determined to get this mess cleaned up.

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Friday, October 10, 2008

Another card using SU's pocket silhouettes. All three squares are embossed. Very simple and easy.

Not sure what my plans are for the day. Thought I would work in the yard (yep, I've been putting that off all week!) but not sure the weather is going to co-operate. Guess I will just go with the flow.

Have a great day!

Thursday, October 9, 2008

I really like the color combo in this printed paper from SU - sage, mustard, chocolate and rust. The squares are cut from the printed paper. I used the leaf stamp from an old SU set - Best Blossoms - inked the leaves with the same color markers and stamped off for the image behind the Happy Birthday. The background leaves are embossed with a Cuttlebug embossing folder.

I got a little sidetracked yesterday and didn't get to the yard work. Maybe I can get to it today after I get the class stuff prepared for tonight.

Enjoy your day!

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

This card uses SU's pocket silhouettes with Riding Hood Red and chocolate. Nice and easy!

Have to get class stuff prepared this morning but I'm hoping to find some time to work in the yard this afternoon. It's supposed to be nice and sunshiny - a good day for some outdoor stuff.

Happy stampin'

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

A scrapbook page today. More beach pictures - very simple layout.

More class preparation today and another class tonight. Don't think I'll have time for much of anything else this week.

Have a wonderful day.

Happy scrappin'

Monday, October 6, 2008

Good Monday morning! Hope you all had a great weekend.

I used one of my new Close to My Heart stamps for this card. I inked the flower with More Mustard then used a sponge dauber to add some Rust on the edges to give it a two-toned look. Printed paper is from SU.

Yesterday was a nice, relaxing day - lunch and then football - made even better when the Broncos pulled it off and won.

I have classes back to back this week, starting tonight. Have projects done, but nothing is cut and bagged so that will keep me busy for the next few days.

Happy stampin'

Sunday, October 5, 2008

The image on this card is from Verve. Simple and easy.

Got my pages done yesterday for class tomorrow night! Yea! Now I just have to cut and bag. Will do that tomorrow because today I am taking a break. My in-laws are coming for lunch and football this afternoon. I hope the Bronocs play better today than they did last week.

Hope you are having a great weekend.

Go Broncos!

Saturday, October 4, 2008

A touch of fall. Tree stamp is from Inkadinkado. I inked the image with brown, then removed the ink from the leaves with a blender pen, then colored the leaves with a rust marker.

I have Scrapbook class on Monday night and I still have no idea what we're going to do. I am really hoping that inspiration strikes today and I can get those projects done.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Friday, October 3, 2008

Dug out some very old stuff for this card - the leaf is embossed with some emsbossing powder that I bought at a stamp show several years ago - I only seem to use it in the fall, but it sure looks pretty for leaves. Three different background stamps on the orange (tangerine), red (riding hood red) and brown (chocolate). Easy!

Spent all day yesterday working on class projects and managed to get the Christmas cards done for class next week. Yea!

Went to a SU party at Kim C's last night. Sherry was the demonstrator - great cards - great food! Thanks Kim & Sherry!

Deb is coming to play today - fun! I am going to be teaching some classes at Carol's new store in Delta so I may work on class projects for that today.

Have a great day!

Thursday, October 2, 2008

A Christmas layout today. I'm trying to get in the mood to do Christmas projects - have to get cards done for class by next week. Boy, it's hard - can't seem to get in the groove. Guess I really don't want to think about Christmas and winter just yet.

Have a great day!

Happy scrappin'

Wednesday, October 1, 2008

I used one of my new Close To My Heart stamps for this card. The background is embossed with the Cuttlebug leaf embossing folder. Copied the layout from Deb!

Judy and I had quite a day in Delta yesterday. Carol Jones is opening a new Scrapbook store in Delta (she will be open beginning Friday) and we spent the day helping her get her product out of the boxes and on display. Whew - forgot what a job that can be. I was wiped out by the time I got home last night! But it was rather fun too! And of course we got to eat lunch at our favorite place - Davito's - Yum!

Have a wonderful day.

Happy Stampin'
