The card - Not much stamping on this one. I just got this flower die (Sizzix) and wanted to play with it. Sentiment is from My Sentiments Exactly. Colors are black and kraft.
I wasn't having much luck with class projects yesterday. Ever have a day when nothing comes out just right? That was my day - hopefully today will be better.
Happy stampin'

Thursday, September 3, 2009

The card - flower and sentiment are from Verve. Colors are saffron and chocolate. Pretty darn easy!

I spent most of the day yesterday doing errands and just some general shopping. That means I didn't get any work done on card class projects - so.........that's the goal for today.

Have a great day!

Wednesday, September 2, 2009

The card - stamped image is from Herb Expressions (SU). Colors are chocolate and baja.

I have a fairly 'free' day today and not sure what I'm going to do. I am either going to do some errands or spend the day working on card class projects for next week - or maybe a combination of both.

Enjoy your day!

Tuesday, September 1, 2009

The card - tree stamp is from Inkadinkado, saying is from Daisy Bucket. Top strip is embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder. Colors are chocolate and dusty durango.

I just can hardly wrap my mind around the fact that is the first of September. Holy Cow! What happened to summer? I love fall - the colors, the weather (usually), but I'm not ready for summer to be over. Time is going by much too fast!

Today I will finish up some chores that I started yesterday and then get ready for class tonight. I still need to get kits cut and bagged (I got a little sidetracked from that yesterday).

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, August 31, 2009

The card - images are from Autumn Days (SU) Colors are vanilla, kraft and soft suede. Background is embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder on kraft.

I actually did spend the day yesterday in my stamp room - class projects for this week are done and I even managed to get a few cards made. Woo hoo! Now today I need to cut and bag kits, plus do some household chores (laundry, for one!)

Happy stampin'

Sunday, August 30, 2009

This is the card I made for the birthday bash I went to last night. Bill restores old cars and at one time had a car just like this. Judy S had this stamp and it was just perfect! Color is basic grey. (the car is cut out and popped up)
So, today I really am going to work on class projects. Duh, I have been saying that all week, haven't I? But I am running out of time, so I plan to spend the entire day in my room 'working'.
Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!

Saturday, August 29, 2009

The card - circles and more circles. This was a fun one to do. Stamps are from Hero Arts. Card is sahara sand. Circles are stamped with razzleberry and soft suede.

Today - have a birthday bash to attend tonight and have to get salad and beans made for my "potluck" contribution. Hopefully I can get a little work done too - still haven't gotten the class projects done - yikes!

Enjoy your weekend.

Friday, August 28, 2009

The card - images are from Autumn Days (SU) Colors are soft suede and crushed curry.

I am definitely going to work on class projects today. I got a little sidetracked yesterday - got to go to lunch with friends Leslie and Michelle. It was pretty cool since I haven't seen Michelle for almost 3 years! So, today, no excuses, I am going to get those projects done!

Enjoy your day!

Thursday, August 27, 2009

The card - stamp is from Of the Earth (SU) I stamped the image with Razzleberry full strength and once or twice again before re-inking.

Today - the week has gotten away from me and I haven't made any progress on class projects yet......so, hopefully I can be creative today. Class tonight.

Enjoy your day!

A little more Razzle Dazzle. Stamp is inked with soft suede and pretty in pink markers. Scalloped rectangle is a nestabilities. Card is soft suede with kraft mat.

So, I'm all rested up and ready to get back to reality - well, more or less. I have a full week of classes coming up, plus projects to get ready for next month. Today I need to run a few errands, do the laundry and get things set up for class tonight.

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, August 23, 2009

The card - embossing folder from SU - butterfly is from Great Friends (SU). White and Razzleberry.

I'm taking an R & R day today. I might do a bit of stamping, read a book, take a nap ................ you get the idea.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Saturday, August 22, 2009

The card - tree stamp is from Inkadinkado. I inked the stamp with chocolate and rust markers. Background on card is cuttlebug embossing folder. Front panel is scalloped at the bottom. Card and panel are vanilla.

We had a wonderful, relaxing day yesterday wandering around Main Street, a stop at Enstrom's and dinner at Dos Hombres. (a really local kind of day!)

Now the company is gone and it's back to reality today - darn! I was having such a good time. I always love spending time with Marleen - and Scott and Alyssa are charming young adults and great to have around. Don't have much I have to do today, but I am looking foward to scrapping with friends tonight - that will be fun.

Hope your weekend is off to a great start!

Friday, August 21, 2009

The card - Medallion stamp (SU). Color is dusty durango.

Yesterday - a great trip to Ouray. We wandered around town, went to Box Canyon Falls (my favorite), had a great lunch and shopped at the antique stores outside of Montrose on the way home. (pictures from Ouray are below)

Today - the last day of fun! My company will be leaving tonight - darn! I am having such a good time. We are going to do Main Street today.

Enjoy your day!

Thursday, August 20, 2009

The card - stamp set is Razzle Dazzle (SU). Colors are soft suede and dusty durango.

Today - we are off on another adventure - going to Ouray and then if we get back to town in time we will wander around downtown at the Farmer's Market.

Yesterday we went to the Gateway Car Museum - fun day. And dinner last night at our cousin Betty's was oh so yummy! Below are a couple of photos from Gateway.

Have a wonderul day!

Wednesday, August 19, 2009

The card - Stamp is Upsy Daisy (SU) embossed in white on Bermuda Bay. The bottom edge of the card front is scalloped. Easy!

Today - we are going to Gateway to the car museum and then to our cousin Betty's for a BBQ tonight! Yum!

Yesterday was great fun - we pretty much spent the entire day walking around Aspen. We had beautiful weather, except for a spot of clouds and a little rain.

Below are a few pictures from our day!
Just a pretty photo
A view of Aspen from the ski lift area

My cousin Marleen, her daughter Alyssa, and son Scott
(have to admit I was in this picture too, but thank goodness for modern technology - I just sort of cropped me right out of there because it was such a bad picture - honest, it was BAD!)
Enjoy your day!

Tuesday, August 18, 2009

The card - Stamp is from Herb Expressions (SU). Colors are olive, chocolate and a touch of bashful blue.

We are playing tourist today and going to Aspen. I haven't been there for several years - should be a fun day.

Enjoy your day!

Monday, August 17, 2009

The card - Razzle Dazzle stamp (SU) with some razzleberry lemonade paper. I inked the stamp with markers (olive, melon, curry). Card is Melon Mambo, center is white with an old olive mat.

Today - the first job is put my house back together. It's amazing what a project in one room leads to. The ceiling is fixed but the rest of the house is still covered with dust from the dry wall so I'm off to get that cleaned up.

It's going to be a great week because my cousin Marleen (from California) and her son, Scott and daughter Alyssa will be here this afternoon. I've cleared my calendar for the week and I'm looking forward to play time for the entire week. Woo hoo!

Have a wonderful day!

Sunday, August 16, 2009

The card - stamp is from Thoughts and Prayers (SU) - I inked the stamp with markers (olive & not quite navy) and added a tiny pearl in the center of each flower. Love those pearls. Card and pattern paper is Not Quite Navy.

Grocery shopping today and then cleaning up a mess. Jeff decided it was time to fix the ceiling in the utility room. I had a leak in the roof and it took forever to figure out where it was and get it fixed - so the ceiling has been a mess for a very long time. But now the ceiling will look almost normal again. But, oh my gosh, there is dry wall dust everywhere in the house! I can't really get started on the mess until Jeff is finished sanding and painting, so I will try to get some odds & end done in the mean time.

Hope you are having a fabulous weekend!

Saturday, August 15, 2009

The card - medallion stamp (SU) - color is blue bayou.

Not much productivity for me last night. Our trip to Delta was very fun, yummy dinner. I tried to get a card done when we got back, but it just wasn't working. Deb worked on some swaps and Sherry was helping her with that - I think they were much more productive than I was.

I'm going to get out and try to do some yard work this morning before the weather gets bad - they are saying it's going to be windy. It's a little damp, seems it rained during the night. But, I'm going to give it a try.

Enjoy the beginning of your weekend!

Friday, August 14, 2009

The card - a very old stamp from Great Impressions. Kind of fun to dig out the old stuff once in a while! I inked the stamp with markers (dusty durango, olive and black). I added a touch of blue to the jars with chalk. (and I can't tell you how long it's been since I dug those chalks out of the drawer) Card is old olive, mats are kraft and dusty durango.

The rain has kind of put a kink in part of my plan for the day. I intended to get caught up on my yard work this morning - um, guess that will have to wait for another day. I guess I will move on plan B - whatever that is. This afternoon Deb, Sherry & I are going to Delta for a little scrapbooking retail therapy at The Scrappy Moose - then dinner at Davetos (yum), then back here to stamp. OK - do you think we'll actually get anything accomplished when we get back? Stay tuned - I'll let you know how that works out!

Have a wonderful day!

Thursday, August 13, 2009

The card - stamps are from Verve. The flowers and flower pot are stamped, cut out and popped up. Colors are Melon Mambo and So Saffron.

Today - chores this morning and then I have to take my car in to be serviced this afternoon. Looking forward to our Shoebox Club this evening. A full day.

Happy stampin'

Wednesday, August 12, 2009

The card - more Razzle Dazzle. I inked the stamp with markers - colors are olive, razzleberry and crushed curry.

Today - oh, where to start. I have so much I want to get done that I'm overwhelmed and not sure where to begin. I guess I better start with a project for our Shoebox Club which is tomorrow night. Hopefully I can get that done this morning and move on to more things on my list. Class tonight.

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, August 11, 2009

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, August 10, 2009

The card - stamp set is Razzle Dazzle (SU) I copied this card from one that Roni did with us the other night - I loved these colors together (soft suede and bordering blue).

Today - have to get started tearing tiles off the shower walls downstairs today. The walls have to be re-done because the tiles are falling off. My son Jeff is coming out to do that sometime this week and my job is to get all the tiles off - oh fun! I do have Stamp Club with Deb to look forward to tonight though - yea!

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, August 9, 2009

The card - stamp set is Herb Expressions (SU) I inked the stamp with markers and then filled them in with a blender pen. Colors are mellow moss and perfect plum.

Today - I'm going to spend some time in my stamp room trying to do a little re-organizing.

Hope you are having a wonderful weekend.

Saturday, August 8, 2009

The card - stamped image is the new Medallion stamp from SU. I stamped it with a VersaMark Dazzle pad (champagne). Kind of a cool effect, although the sparkle doesn't show in the photo. Colors are kraft and soft suede.

Today - really have no idea. Have a lot to do, just not sure where to start. I will come up with a plan before the day gets away from me - I hope!

Enjoy your day!

Friday, August 7, 2009

The card - stamp set is Circle Circus (SU) I used two of the new in-colors, dusty durango and crushed curry, on this card. The circles are stamped on white, then punched out and popped up.

We had a wonderful time at a stamp class with Roni last night. Great cards and lots of fun. Thanks Roni!

Today - busy work - water the lawn, do the laundry, get pictures taken of the cards I've made this week, etc. Stamping tonight with friends - yea!

Have a wonderful day!

Thursday, August 6, 2009

The card - flower is from In Full Bloom (SU) - stamped with chocolate and colored with baja, cut out and popped up. Colors are chocolate, baja and kraft.

Today - another day of stamping with Deb - yea! I should work on getting class stuff cut, but we'll see - I'm having way more fun just stamping for fun!

Enjoy the day!

Wednesday, August 5, 2009

The card - I used the circle circus set (SU) for this card. I tried something a little different (for me) and stamped the images with a VersaMark Dazzle pad - frost. It gives it just a bit of shimmer which you can't see in the photo. Kind of cool. The sentiment is from PaperTrey Ink. Colors are Bermuda Bay and kiwi.

Today - Deb will be here again today. More stamping time. I got quite a bit accomplished yesterday so here's hoping for another productive day.

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, August 4, 2009

The card - another watercolor rose. I did this one with real red and pretty in pink. (I played with it a little too much and didn't end up with much pink showing)

Today - Deb will be here to stamp while her son is at soccer. That means I need to get my act together and get the table cleaned off! I'm going to try and get the cards finished for card class.

Enjoy your day!

Monday, August 3, 2009

The card - stamped image is from Herb Expressions (SU) Colors are razzleberry and olive. Sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Today - cutting and bagging kits for class tonight.

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, August 2, 2009

The card - stamp is from Thoughts and Prayers (SU). I used old olive and dusty durango markers to ink the stamp. After stamping I punched the circles from the image. (I used a 1 1/4" circle punch) The circles are popped up. Background is swiss dots embossing folder from cuttlebug. The card is vanilla and the mat is dusty durango.

Today - I am going to try and get some yard work done this morning. Then if I still have any ambition left I am going to get the kits cut and bagged for class tomorrow night.

Enjoy your day!

Saturday, August 1, 2009

The card - stamp is from Hero Arts, embossed in white on razzleberry. Happy Birthday is from Papertrey Ink. Printed paper is SU, Razzleberry Lemonade.

Today - who knows. Have lots to do, just not sure which particular project I am going to tackle.

Enjoy your weekend!

Friday, July 31, 2009

The card - another one with Judy's scallop flourish from Hero Arts. I used Crushed Curry for this one. White piece is embossed with cuttlebug embossing folder, printed paper is from Razzleberry Lemonade (SU). Happy Birthday is from Papertrey Ink.

Today - a little yard work this morning. A couple of errands and cleaning up my stamp room this afternoon. (somehow I made a mess without really accomplishing anything - how did that happen?) Stamping with friends tonight.

Enjoy your day!

Thursday, July 30, 2009

The card - stamp is from Clearly Impressed (Stampington & Co). This is another stamp set Judy S brought over for me to play with - love the images in this set. Image is stamped with Bermuda Bay, Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry.

I haven't made much progress on that long list of things I wanted to get done this week. I think my motivation got lost somewhere along the way. I'm going to look for it (my motivation, that is) and maybe I can get something accomplished today. I'm looking forward to dinner out with friends tonight.

Happy stampin'

Wednesday, July 29, 2009

The card - stamp set is Thoughts and Prayers (SU) I used razzleberry and old olive markers to ink the stamp. A razzleberry mat and ribbon add a bit more color.

Well, finishing card class in the dark last night was a new experience. The electricity went off just before we got to the last card. The class room is in the basement so it was very dark - but we persevered by coming upstairs and finishing at the dining room table which is by the window. Interesting experience.

Today - have to go get a haircut this morning, then lunch with my cousin this afternoon. Kind of a chopped up day, but hopefully I can do some more work on class projects in between.

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, July 28, 2009

The card - my friend Judy S brought this Hero Arts stamp (the scalloped circle) over and wanted me to figure out what to do with it. What??? Now everyone knows I copy things - didn't have anything to copy - oh no! So.......I saw this layout somewhere and thought maybe it might work. I stamped the image with suede and used the suede dsp from SU. Added a cuttlebug butterfly.

Today - back to work on class projects for next week. Class tonight.

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, July 27, 2009

The card - stamp is from Echoes of Kindness (SU). Background on card is a Quick Kutz embossing folder. Colors are black, white and saffron. Colored the stamped image with celery and a touch of lavender. Used the label punch from SU for the sentiment.

Have a long list of things to get done this week, so I need to figure out where to start today. Had sort of planned on working in the yard, but it rained quite a bit here last night, looks like things are pretty wet this morning. (oh yeah, that's a good enough excuse for me to put that off!) Guess I will do some errands and then get to work on class projects.

Enjoy your day!

Sunday, July 26, 2009

Another water color rose. I think this eggplant one is my favorite.

Yesterday turned into a real 'do nothing' kind of day. So, I need to be motivated today and get some things done - sounds good anyway!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
