Well, I got my work room straightened up yesterday...now I can at least walk around without tripping over something :)  I think I'm going to try and get some work done in the basement today...there's still Christmas stuff sitting around down there - that's so bad!  Then I will need to get ready for class tonight.

Need to figure out where to start today....my room needs some major cleaning and straightening up done...things got pretty piled up during the holidays and I think it's time to get it cleaned up a bit! (not to mention the mess I've created the last couple of days)

Not sure what my plans are for the day just yet.  I did get quite a lot of stamping done yesterday - yay!  I probably should try and get some more done today... we'll see.  It's so cold that all I can think about is staying warm..... I am so ready for a bit of warmer weather.  (at this point anything above freezing would seem like a heat wave)  Can't remember when we've had a winter this cold, for this long.......  Enough whining, I better figure out what I'm going to do today and get started.

Project Sunday - a pillow I made for Deb for her birthday.  (the flowers are really more of a gold color, they look much brighter in the photo)

Aw....what a day we had yesterday!  The Crazy Quilt class was so much fun.  Today we'll be going back to Laura's for some more stitching and I'll be doing some more work on that project.  The football game was fun...until the end that is...can't believe the Broncos lost that game :(   I was really looking forward to a great post-season, and then hopefully the Super Bowl.  Oh well, there's always next year!

We got Jeff & Sara moved yesterday....brrrr.... man it was cold!  But they spent their first night in their new house so all is good!  Now it's time for me to get back to work....I have card class Tuesday and haven't started on the projects yet.  It seems like it's been forever since I've actually done any kind of crafting, so I really need to get back in the groove today!

I have had the most fabulous couple of weeks....so much fun!  I'm not ready to get back to real life!  But......I guess I better...lots of things to get done.  I do have to finish up a few gifts because we're doing a Christmas/Birthday party on Friday (I guess the fun stuff isn't over quite yet!)  And I have class tomorrow night.  So, guess I better try to get back into my regular routine today!

It was a beautiful drive over the monument yesterday - can't remember the last time I was up there when there was so much snow!   Today is football day - Jeff is making chili and we're going in to watch the game at their house!  Go Broncos!!!

The card - balloon punch is from Martha Stewart, sentiment is from Paper Inspirations.  I just punched a bunch of balloons from a variety of patterned paper, some are adhered flat, some are popped up.  I drew the strings with a pen. 

Another big day....Jeff & Sara are closing on their house today and...today is Sara's birthday.   The plan is to go out to the new house after closing so Tracy & Tony can see it.....then dinner out for Sara's birthday celebration.  It will be a fun day!

Have a few last minute errands to run today......then I can relax and enjoy dinner at Texas Road House tonight, followed by driving around looking at Christmas lights.  Then it will be time to pick up Tracy & Tony at the airport...woo hoo!  Life is Good!

Well, the Christmas decorations didn't even make it out of the closet yesterday.  I got a little sidetracked....that seems to happen way too often these days :)  So, I'm off to put on the Christmas music and get those decorations up!
