The card - I sponged the background panel on the left side.  The leaves are punched out of cajun cardstock, scrunched up and sponged.  Add some twine and a sentiment.

Photo Saturday - Hudson - 18 months old - WOW - the time is going by so fast!  This kid brings so much joy to my life!

The card - I used a strip of the Color Theory paper from Stampin Up and stamped the leaves (from Hero Arts) with black.  I matted the strip on white and then adhered to the card front.  

Have a few chores to get done this morning and then it's off to Hi Fashion for our Wool Gatherer's group this afternoon.  Then it's back here for our Shoebox Club tonight.  Luckily we're celebrating a birthday, so just dinner and gifts - Yay!  A busy, but fun day!

Evidently Hudson has passed on the germs from his runny nose which in my case has turned into a full fledged cold.  Yuk!  I'm glad I don't have any important stuff to do today - just some chores around the house which I can put off until tomorrow.  Back to bed for a while for me!

Time to think about class stuff.  Hmmm.  I just can't hardly wrap my mind around the fact that it's already September.  I love fall, but can't help but think that it means that winter is coming....yuk!

Ah, sorry about missing the last couple of days.  I ended up with Hudson for almost the entire weekend - yay!  Fun, but I didn't even turn the computer on.    Today, I'm off for a few hours of stitching at Hi Fashion.  Looking forward to that, but I must get something together to work on in the next hour.  Oh my, I better get busy!

The card - flower is from Darkroom Door.  I inked the stamp with markers, punched it out in a circle and then popped it up.  The strips under the circle are washi tape.

Boring old chores today...laundry is at the top of the list!

The card - another super easy one.  Used some of SU's Color Theory paper, cut to size for the front panel and then just used a nice big sentiment stamp and added some bling! 

Didn't get much accomplished yesterday....had one of those days that I just couldn't get motivated to do anything.  Hopefully I can get some stamping done today....that's my goal anyway!

Project Sunday - my August 'Block of the Month'

Ok......today I really am going to get some stamping done!  My plan for that didn't exactly work out yesterday, but that's ok.  Ended up going to lunch with a friend and then we came back and did some stitching and watched 2 movies!  Fun afternoon!  And I even got the file drawers in the classroom cleaned out last night.  Had a great day and then managed to be productive too!  Yay for me!

Great weekend!  It was so much fun catching up on family with my cousin.  It was a short visit but I enjoyed the family time!  Today is 'Grandma time' and that's my only plan for the day!

The card - stamped sentiment and chair die cut are from SU.  I tore some kraft cardstock for 'the sand' and layered the chair with 2 different colors of die cuts to give it a bit more dimension.  Some grunge spots on the kraft added to the 'sand' effect.

Found out I was having some unexpected company tomorrow, so I have chores I need to get done today!  And we're celebrating a birthday at our Shoebox club tonight - that is always fun!  Better get to work :)
