The card - using some images from SU's digital
download.  I sponged the background a bit and then cut out the images and attached them to the panel.  (the line at the top of both sayings are just shadows from the scan)

Hope you all had a nice weekend.  I spent most of the weekend with Hudson which was nice.  Jeff bbq'd steaks on Friday night and we had a nice evening outside.  On Saturday a friend came over to stamp and it was so exciting to have an 'almost normal' day!  We went to a local hamburger place for lunch and got to eat inside and everything.  Oh, it was heaven - I do miss eating out!!!  Hudson spent the day yesterday and then we had a sleepover so we'll have today together too!  It's been a great weekend!!!  No exciting plans for today, except I think we'll try to go get Hudson a haircut - it is really getting a bit shaggy!

Have a great day!

I managed to get a bit of stuff done yesterday!  (not a lot, but a bit)  After having Hudson here everyday for a month, it's really quiet! I'm having a hard time getting back into a routine.  I have almost run out of stuff to organize and/or clean.

How are you all managing this craziness?  Has your life changed?    What do you miss the most?

Enjoy your day!

Well, yesterday turned into a real do-nothing day!  Went for two walks, took a nap, read a book and that was about it!  Guess I needed a day off :)  I do have plans to get some things accomplished today - hopefully that will work out better than it did yesterday!!!!

Enjoy your day!

Tuesday, May 5, 2020

Well, Hudson has gone back to preschool.  The house is very quiet this morning.  Now I will be back to the regular schedule of Mondays and a day or two on the weekend.  So, I should be able to get some things done now, right?   I really haven't been able to get much crafting done while he's been here, so that is my goal for now!  Stitching, knitting and stamping!   I just need a bit of motivation :)

Have a great day!

Crafty Sunday - One of my Little Red Wagon pillows.  This was a Block of the Month last year - it was orginally meant to be part of a quilt, but I decided to make my squares into pillows instead.  So, I have a different seasonal pillow each month for my sofa!

Hudson and I are baking today.  I have been promising him we would make a carrot cake (one of my favorites) for a long time.  I finally managed to collect all the ingredients at the store yesterday, so today we are making cake!

Hope you are enjoying your weekend!

Photo Saturday - Canyon View Park

Yesterday was a beautiful day to be outside so Hudson and I went out to Canyon View Park.  The ducks were all sleeping and not much interested in our offerings of food - poor Hudson couldn't figure out why they didn't want to eat.  But we enjoyed the walk around the lakes anyway!

No child today, so I'm making a trip to the grocery store this morning and then doing a bit of clean up in the house.  Hoping to get some wool applique projects put together and ready to stitch!

Enjoy your weekend!

Friday, May 1, 2020

The card - this was one of my favorite cards and it didn't scan well at all!  :(   The background is embossed with SU's subtle folder.  The rectangles are the stitched rectangles from SU.  I stamped the flowers in black and colored them with copics.  A little added twine and a sentiment.

I'm running out of things to clean LOL!!!  Never thought I'd say that!  Took down all the window blinds yesterday and hosed them off outside and then hung them back up.  I still need to wash the windows, but I have to work up to that one!!!  Not sure what we'll do today.

Have a great day!
