Chores this morning.   (lots of them).  I'm a little behind on the chore list so I need to catch up this morning.  Mowing the lawn was on the list, but it rained during the night, so that one might have to wait for another day!  Bu no excuse for the inside stuff :)  But after the chores are done I can relax and enjoy an afternoon with the Needle Keepers.  (always a highlight of my week1)

Ethan decided to spend the night last night so that was a nice addition to my evening!  We had a nice relaxing evening watching a movie.  Today we're going to go check out a park that we haven't been to before.  Family dinner tonight so we also have to make a trip to the grocery store!

Photo Sunday - this is what I've been working on at night while I watch TV....I love these cute little knitted pumpkins!  They are fun and fairly quick to make!

Off to church this morning with my pot of soup (it's soup Sunday and I signed up to make soup!)  It's a nice social get together after church and the donations go to help feed the hungry!  It's also almost the end of peach season and I have a whole lot of peaches I need to prepare for the freezer so Jeff can have fresh peach ice cream during the winter :)  That's my plan for the afternoon!

Running behind today :)   Hudson decided to spend the night at the last minute and then he slept in this morning and I couldn't get to the computer!  Almost forgot to post at all, but better late than never I guess.  We ended up having a nice family bbq at Jeff & Sara's last night so that was the perfect ending to a nice relaxing day.  Hudson and I did a lot of work this morning (he loves to earn 'chore money' :)  He mowed the neighbors lawn, folded towels, washed the car and then we even made a cake.  Looking forward to Needle Keepers this afternoon!

I have no idea what I'm doing today.  I was so productive yesterday that all the laundry is done and the house is clean so.......    I do have some weeds to deal with in the lawn, but then even the yard work will be done.  So many things to choose from, I'm sure I can find something to do!  :)

Had a wonderful day yesterday - we ended up driving up to Ouray and spent the day having lunch and just wandering in and out of the tourist shops.  It was good to get away for the day - and especially good because the smoke and fire smell from the fires was really bad here  yesterday!  Luckily the  wind had blown most of it away by the time we got back to town!    My plan is to spend most of the day in the stamp room!

Sorry about missing yesterday.  The boys ended up spending the night and Hudson sleeps in the spare room where my computer is.  By the time he got up I ended up forgetting about the blog :)  But we had a great day - went to a cool old west museum in Montrose.  It was pretty cool.  Hudson spent the night again last night - he says he needs a break from Ethan sometimes :)  We have a few errands to do this morning and then my afternoon with the Needle Keepers.   Going to miss these fun summer days when school starts!

What an awesome day we had yesterday.  It made my heart happy to watch all the boys that are so special to me be together and have so much fun!  (this is the first time they had met!)  Sad to say they are leaving this morning to make their way back to California.  But I have enjoyed every minute they have been here!   It will be nice to have time to enjoy the Needle Keepers this afternoon too!
