The card - Making these 'quilt cards' are a lot of fun so I decided to make a fall one. I used SU's Autumn Vine. The card is rust, emobssed mat is chocolate. Quilt piece is made with SU's top note die.
Today - we are going to San Diego with my cousin Marleen and her family. Should be able to find plenty of fun things to do!

The card - this is the card I made for the wedding we are attending tonight. Saw this idea somewhere and thought it was just too cute. The blue is one of the colors in Nicole's wedding. The picture below is the inside. I made a holder for a gift card on the top and put the sentiment on the bottom (sorry the picture is kind of wacky) 
The card - image is from Inkadinkado. I inked the image with markers - chocolate, rust, mustard and teal. Happy Birthday is from My Sentiments Exactly. Pattern paper is from SU.
Today - "Leaving on a Jet Plane......................." That was me singing (if you're old enough to remember that song!) Believe me, better for you that you can't really hear me singing. We will be on our way to California (Newport Beach) tonight. My cousin Ron's daughter is getting married, so we are just going for the weekend to attend the wedding. It will be a short trip, coming back Monday. But it will be fun! Tracy is meeting us (Jeff, Sara & I) at LAX, so not only will I be attending a fun wedding (it's a Harbor Cruise), but I get to spend time with both my kids - yea!
So, just a few things to finish up today - water the lawn, pay some bills and pack my suitcase. We don't leave until 9:30 tonight so I have all day to get my act together.

We had a great Close To My Heart party with Dorene last night! Thanks Dorene! I can hardly wait for all my new stamps to get here so I can play with them.
Today is a fairly 'free' day. No obligations, no classes. So.........I guess I better get some last minute errands done before we leave for California on Friday. Getting a wedding present for the wedding we are attending is my priority!

The card - hadn't used this stamp set (Priceless) in a long time so decided I would find something to do with it. Printed paper is from SU - Cottage Wall. Colors are razzleberry and olive.
I never made it out to do yard work yesterday - ended up spending the day in my room stamping. But.........I got several cards done, so it was a productive day. Today I am going to watch the football game (Go Broncos!) and get this week's class project cut and bagged.

I slept in this morning - that doesn't happen often! But I didn't sleep well - must have been the Cold Stone Creamery ice cream we had last night! (very yummy though!) Now I'm going to try and work up the energy to get a little yard work done this morning.

Today - um.........I have no idea what I'm doing today. I have a ton of stuff that needs to be done - housework, yard work, class projects, and the list goes on and on. Don't really have a burning desire to do any of them! But I am looking forward to stamping/scrapping with friends tonight!

A little bit of fall today. The stamped leaves are from Autumn Days (SU) I inked them with dusty durango and then used a tiny sponge to add a bit of chocolate to the edges. Squares are punched from more mustard, dusty durango and soft suede and added to a kraft mat. Card is also kraft. The square with thank you, the squares with leaves and the squares on the row with the ribbon are popped up. (Squares are 1 1/4".)
I am meeting friends for breakfast this morning, then I will do a few errands. Class tonight.

I just can hardly wrap my mind around the fact that is the first of September. Holy Cow! What happened to summer? I love fall - the colors, the weather (usually), but I'm not ready for summer to be over. Time is going by much too fast!
Today I will finish up some chores that I started yesterday and then get ready for class tonight. I still need to get kits cut and bagged (I got a little sidetracked from that yesterday).
