I actually got some stamping done yesterday......now that I'm on a roll I'm hoping I can get some more done today :)

The card - background stamp is from Hero Arts, flower is from SU.  Hadn't used this SU stamp for a long time, decided it was time!  The background newsprint stamp is stamped with kraft.  The floral stamp was inked with markers and stamped on top of the background.  I added some spoltches and diestressed the edges.  Just something a little different from my usual! Colors are espresso, daffodil and vanilla.

Today has just got to be a stamping day!  The last two times I had planned on stamping I never got to it......so, I'm way behind and running out of cards to post.  So, hopefully I can stick with the plan today :)

We are celebrating our friend Sherry's birthday tonight.....fun!....that means I need to get moving and make noodles and then clean up the huge mess I made yesterday.  (I did get a lot accomplished, but somehow I sure managed to leave a mess in every room :)

A crafting day today - I need to get some cards made and figure out what applique project to work on next.  Looking forward to Friday night craftin' with Deb.....she's been gone for several weekends lately and it's been too long since we've had our usual Friday night get together!

Um....not sure what I'm doing today.   Not sure how I ended up with a free day.......but I'm sure I can find something to do.  We do have Shoebox Club tonight, but Deb and Alison are teaching us how to make ornaments, so I don't have to come up with a project - yay!

Project Sunday - another small candle mat .....circles on cream background.  

I thought I was going to get a little more yard work done this morning but......we finally got some much needed rain yesterday...woo hoo!   It's still a little too wet to work in the yard so I guess I will get to work cutting class kits this morning.  Going to the quilt store for some stitchin' time this afternoon.

Project Sunday - a small (12") candle mat - most of my projects have been done on a black background, but as you can see that doesn't always have to be the case - this one is done on off-white with an added layer of dark red.

I must get this week's class project done ..... that's my goal for this morning.  Then Judy S is coming this afternoon for some stamping time......aw....maybe a productive day...finally!
