Sue, I had to laugh at the comment you left yesterday..... when I was a kid we called those 'thongs' too!  Then 'thongs' became a kind of underwear and now the shoes are flip flops.

The card - just a fun one today....this is the card I did for our Shoebox Club last week.  The flip flops are from Imaginisce and the sentiment is from Deadbeat designs. 

Sure am glad I got my work all done yesterday...woo hoo!  Now, today I can have a little fun.  Judy S and I are going to breakfast, a little (very little) shopping and then some crafting time.   At some point I do need to get things put together for class tonight though.

I got a little side-tracked yesterday and didn't get all my work done...oops!  The priority today is getting the kits cut for class tonight :) 

To answer questions from the last couple of posts:  the flowers from yesterday's card are in SU's set called Field Flowers.  And a question from Sunday's post - I get a lot of my patterns for the wool applique I do from our local quilt shop, but I also order on-line.  A lot of the mats I do come from a company called Primitive Gatherings.  The pattern for the oval mat pictured on Sunday was in a book called Autumn Gatherings.

The card - flowers are from SU.  Brick wall is Tim Holtz embossing folder, fence is a Martha Stewart punch.  I stamped the stems on the panel, inked the inside of the folder and then embossed.  The flowers and the leaf on the right are cut out and popped up.

It's time to get class kits cut and bagged so that is my goal for the day.   Hopefully I can get some errands done this afternoon too.

I'm going to work on some digital scrapbooking this morning.  Still have some wedding stuff to do and I've been waiting for SU's new upgrade to their MDS program.  It came out this week and I haven't taken time to play with it yet...so, I'm going to work on that this morning and then do some stitching later.

I still have to do the cutting and bagging, but the class projects are done...yay!  Now it's time to get some chores done around here....watering the lawn, doing some laundry, etc.   Shoebox Club tonight...thankfully my project is done for that too!

Today is going to be a stamping day!  I got another section of the yard done yesterday...yay!  So I'm taking a break from the yard work today (it rained last night anyway, so it's too wet to do anything outside) and I'm planning on spending the day in my stamp room.

Project Sunday - something besides a table mat :)  I took this flower pattern and used it to make a pillow for my living room. 

Not sure what I'm doing today....I did some stitching yesterday, but that was about it.  So, I guess today I better get the laundry done and figure out what needs to be done for the coming week.
