I guess there weren't many people around here who wanted a chance to become the next  American Idol - there was maybe a total of 30 people that showed up for the tryouts yesterday.  So there wasn't much excitement to see from my window. 

(ETA:  the newspaper this morning said they had 200 people tryout - they were hiding somewhere that I couldn't see I guess .....)

Today I have a couple of errands to do and then I will need to get stuff ready for class tonight.

Ah....Monday.... have no idea where to start today....maybe I'll just hang out and watch the happenings in the park.  They're having tryouts for American Idol today and I can catch the action from my window.  Starting time is 3 hours from now and there is already a line forming..... um.....maybe I better try to get some work done on class projects - that might be more productive :)
