The secretary at church called me several weeks ago and said they were running out of birthday cards - oh oh.  I meant to get some put together before this, but somehow it just hasn't happened.  So, that's my goal for today.  Hopefully I can keep the mess at a minimum so I won't have too much cleaning up to do before class tonight :)

Oh my, a day with no commitments!  Good grief, what will I do with myself?  I do have to call and see about getting a couple of appointments - I'm hoping to work at least one of them in today.  Other than that I guess I better figure out something to work on tomorrow - we have a full day of stitching coming up.  And of course there is stamping that needs to be done.

Project Sunday - this is a project I had finished stitching several months ago but just hadn't gotten around to putting it in a frame.  I finally got it in the frame so I could hang it on the wall :)

Whew - the paper work is all done!  Yay!  Now I can get back to the fun stuff - stitching and stamping!

I got part of the laundry done yesterday and got a start on the paper work.  Not quite as productive as I had hoped.  So, I need to work on both of those things again today, plus figure out a project for Shoebox tonight.

Project Sunday - a finished wool project - yay!  This is a table runner that I just finished.  I reduced the original pattern just a bit because I wanted to use it on my dining room hutch and it was a bit too big.

My original plans for the day have changed a bit - our friend Sherry was supposed to arrive today for a weekend visit but, because of the snow in the mountains she decided to postpone her trip for another time.  Bummer!  So, instead of some last minute preparations for her arrival I guess I better try and get some work done on class projects.

A little stitching time today - Emily and I will be at the Wool Gatherer's group at Hi Fashion this afternoon.  It will be a nice break.  It was nice to see some sunshine yesterday but we're supposed to get more snow today and tomorrow - it would be nice if the weather prediction turned out to be wrong :)

I never did get around to working on class stuff yesterday - I got sidetracked doing some odds and ends around the house and the entire day got away from me.  Not good!  I'm going to try and get a bit done this morning, then I'm going to a movie this afternoon with Judy D.  (if the weather isn't too bad).  We're supposed to get a bit of a break with the snow today, but then they're saying there is more coming on Thursday and Friday - ugh!

Snow, snow, and more snow.  It snowed a lot yesterday, but nothing was sticking to the ground.  Now it's sticking - there's at least 3 inches of the white stuff and it's still snowing.  Ugh!  Glad I went and did a few errands yesterday so I don't have to go anywhere today - good day to get some more work done on class projects :)

Super Bowl Sunday

The hall closet - this was just an ordinary coat closet in the hallway - took the door off, added some ribbed paneling on the back, a bench, some hooks and a shelf and presto - a mini mud room.  

Hard to believe it's the first of February - but now it's another month closer to spring!  I didn't think the snow would ever stop yesterday - it snowed for close to 30 hours. Luckily it warmed up a bit so it was melting and not accumulating as much-  thank goodness.  Have so many things to get done this coming week that I guess I better figure out where to start and try to accomplish something today :)
