The card -  I sponged a bit of color on the background.  The poinsettia, leaves and stems are all die cut (SU).  The layers of the flower are popped up.

No big plans today.  I really need to start thinking about Christmas shopping I guess.  No ideas.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - the background is patterned paper.  The bells (SU) and branches (Tim Holtz) are die cuts.  Just added a sentiment and some ribbon.

I think all the decorations are done.  Have to check out a couple of lights that don't seem to be working right (and yes, I checked them before I put them up - lol)  No idea what the issue is!  Not sure what the plan is for today - don't really have one yet :)

Have a terrific day!

'Grandma time' today.  Hoping to get the outside Christmas decorations up.

Have a wonderful day!

Had great fun decorating at Jeff's yesterday - listening to Christmas music, hot cider and popcorn included -  it was great!  Now it's time to do some decorating here.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - Patterned paper, curvy die cuts (SU) and matching stamp.  Easy peasy!

Guess it's time to start digging out the Christmas decorations.  Or maybe at least getting the fall stuff down and put away.   Going to Jeff & Sara's later today to help Hudson put up their tree.  That will be fun!

Have a great day!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Stay Safe......Be Well!

Wednesday, November 25, 2020

The card - A bit of grunge stamped on the bottom panel.  The smaller center panel is die cut at the top.  The circle is die cut, the leaves are die cut and sponged on the edge and popped up.

Plenty of chores to get done today.  I haven't cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the last several years, but we decided to follow the guidelines this year and not have a big get together.  So, I'm cooking dinner for just the 5 of us.  I'm off to the grocery for some last minute items and then I need to do some house cleaning.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - strip along the bottom is patterned paper.  The tree branch is stamped in brown and the leaves are stamped with versamark and then embossed with gold embossing powder.  Add a sentiment, some bling and a bit of twine.

I don't really have a plan for the day.  Hmmm....that's not good.  But I'll try to figure out what needs to be done before Thursday and get started!

Have a great day!

Photo Sunday - it's beginning to look like winter on Monarch Pass

It was a long day in the car yesterday, but nice to get away even if it was for just the day.  Relaxing for me to just sit and look at the scenery and talk - there was lots of talking going on....lol!

Today I need to get my yard cleaned up - pickup day for leaves tomorrow so I need to get them all blown or raked into the gutter.

Have a great day!

Nothing like Grandma baby snuggles!

Off on a day road trip this morning.  Riding along with a friend to the other side of Colorado to pick up some furniture she ordered.

Have a terrific day!

The card - Background is patterned paper.  Middle strip is plain cardstock.  Front panel is embossed.   Add some ribbon, bling and a sentiment.

An Eye Dr's appointment this morning and then.......some baby snuggle time - woo hoo!  I will have Ethan on Fridays from now on.  Afternoons to start, then all day when Sara goes back to work.

Have a wonderful day!

The card - patterned paper, die cut leaves, die cut panel for sentiment and some twine.  How easy is that?

Gosh, I am sure missing my Thursday afternoon knitting friends.  Hopefully we'll be able to get back together soon!!!   No idea what to do today.  I should get some yard work done while the days are still nice.  Hmmmm....guess I'll think about that!

Have a great day!

Wednesday, November 18, 2020

The card - another 'curvy' one.  The bottom piece is die cut (SU) and then attached to the patterned paper.  The trees (Tim Holtz) are die cut and popped up.  Just add a sentiment.  Pretty darn easy!

Today.....hmmmm.....not sure.  The house is clean, the laundry is done, so.....   It's supposed to be a nice day so maybe a bit of yard work.  Have to think about it!

Have a wonderful day!

The card - a brand new bundle from Stampin Up to play with - Quite Curvy.  The white piece is die cut at the bottom and then added to the top of the patterned piece.  The message is stamped along the curve and then just some added punched leaves and a prima flower.

Time to get some cleaning done.  Not very excited, but it's been too long.  I'll get it over with and then have the rest of the week to play!

Have a great day!

Monday, November 16, 2020

The card - I used some grunge stamps on the background and then die cut the leaf from some sparkly paper.  Sentiment is a die cut.  Added a bit of bling.  (this is one that definitely looks better in real life!)

'Grandma time' today.  That's all!

Have a terrific day!

Photo Saturday - Colorado scenery

Planning on doing some stamping today.  It's supposed to rain/snow so it will be a good indoor, hibernating day!
