The card - background is stamped with some grunge.  Leaves are punched out of patterned paper, scrunched up and popped up.  A sentiment and some twine.  Super easy!

Not sure what the day is bringing.  Waiting to hear if Hudson is well enough to go to school today.  It's going to be sad if he isn't, was looking forward to Grandparents day today!  Oh well, there's always next year!   But, I do have to get ready to do a Thirty-one Party at a friend's house tonight.  It's been at least 2 years since I've done a party, not sure I remember how!  But, it will be fun and I'm looking forward to it!

The card - background is stamped on the right with the same color as the cardstock.  Strip on the left is piece of patterned paper.  Small white panel is die cut and matted with gold foil.  Add some pretty gold ribbon.  

My plan today is spend the day stamping.  (unless I get a call about a sick kid:)  So, we'll see - hopefully he's much better this morning (Covid test was negative thank goodness!)  and he can go back to school today!

The card - jus some patterned paper and some die cut leaves.  The white background is die cut along the top.  The scalloped  border in the center is also die cut.  The two solid leaves are punched out, the gold leaf is die cut.  Add some pretty gold ribbon.  (this is another one that looks much better in real life!)

Time to do a bit of house cleaning this morning.   Looking forward to an afternoon of relaxing amd crafting with the Needle Keepers.

Back to work on class projects today.  So frustrating when I have days that things just don't come together the way I think they should - and that was yesterday.  Hoping for a better result today!

Photo Sunday - brother snuggles

Yesterday was great fun!  (and I did do a bit of buying, even though I had no intention of doing so!:)   But it was an afternoon of laughter and eating and shopping - just a wonderful feel good day!   Today, I really must finish up the closet stuff - I got interrupted and now have boxes of shoes all over the bedroom and clothes all over the utility room.  That's today's project - or at least one of them - I'd really like to get some yard work done too!  (feeling rather ambitious - hahahha!)

Gotta say, Halloween is not my favorite holiday, but you can't not enjoy it with Hudson around.  Not sure why it's one of his favorite holidays, but he does love it!   It was a great weekend and our Halloween dinner party was a hit!
