The card - the images are stamped directly on the background piece.  Then I took a tag die and die cut that shape from the panel.  Then I popped that piece up right back in the same spot!  Easy, but pretty cool.

Now I'm off for the first of my cataract surgeries this morning.  Hoping it goes as easy and smooth as everyone tells me it is!   But, oh my I am so excited at the idea  of being able to see well again!

The card - I stamped the sentiment at the top of the background piece, die cut the santa image and then embossed the entire piece and added a bow.  Easy peasy!  

Need to get some chores done this morning and then a get together with the Needle Keepers this afternoon.  Then I have to get myself and my bags organized to do a Thirty-One Party tonight!  Busy day!

Project Sunday - finally,,,,,a finished project.  Just in time for my dining room table!  

I have such a long list of stuff to do, I'm not sure where to start today.  The outside Christmas decorations are on the list for today, but I have to wait for it to warm up a bit!  So, in the meantime I think I'll start on some peanut brittle.

Oh my, I am feeling a bit overwhelmed.  For some reason there is just an awful lot going on and so many things to get done.  I really, really need to get myself organized.    I never, ever put up Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving but.......there's so much that I need to get done and Hudson is here all week and Ethan will be here Wednesday and Friday......Hudson and I put up the Christmas tree yesterday!  Whew - one job out of the way!   My only saving grace is that we aren't doing Thanksgiving here - thank goodness!  And it will only bother me for two more days hahaha!   Today Hudson and I may be able to get a little more decorating done!  And clean up the classroom for class tonight :)   (that's an important one!)

Not sure what the day is bringing.  Waiting to hear if Hudson is well enough to go to school today.  It's going to be sad if he isn't, was looking forward to Grandparents day today!  Oh well, there's always next year!   But, I do have to get ready to do a Thirty-one Party at a friend's house tonight.  It's been at least 2 years since I've done a party, not sure I remember how!  But, it will be fun and I'm looking forward to it!
