'Grandma time' with Ethan again today.  Mostly because Jeff is going to come and take out some very old bushes I have in the yard.  It's going to look a bit bare for awhile because I have no idea what's going to replace them.  But, that's the job for today!

The card - more new flowers!  The smaller panel has a piece of vellum cut a bit smaller and attached to the panel.  (it doesn't show up well in the photo).  The flowers and leaves are die cut from patterned paper and popped up on top of the vellum layer.  
Add a sentiment strip at the bottom and a bit of bling.

Not sure what is happening today.  Hudson was supposed to have a his own 'Grandma day' today.  But Ethan was sick yesterday and spent the afternoon yesterday sleeping on my lap.  So, I'm not sure if both boys are going to be here today or not.  It's  wait and see I guess!

The card - played with some new stamps yesterday. (SU)    The background design is die cut.  The flowers and leaves are die cut from patterned paper.  How easy is that?  The flowers and sentiment are popped up. 

Back to the stamp room today.  Wasn't real productive yesterday, but it was fun to play with these new flowers from SU.  Maybe I'll get more done today - or not!

The card - a bit of grunge in the background and then image is stamped on the smaller die cut panel.  Flowers, leaves and stem are colored with ink and a blender brush.

Finally.....a stamping day!   Feels like it's been forever, but looking forward to a day spent in the stamp room!

The card - background is embossed.  Circle is die cut from patterned paper and sentiment is stamped directly on the circle.  The stems are die cut and there is some added silver string.  Pretty darn easy!

A bit of cleaning up this morning and then a nice relaxing afternoon with the Needle Keepers.  That's all.

The card - used a really old stamp that I found - background is stamped with a variety of soft color using a watercolor effect background stamp.  Then I just stamped the image in black.  Added a sentiment.  Super easy!

It's been a fun and busy weekend!   But it's back to normal today - my company is leaving this morning and it's a 'Grandma day' with Ethan.

Had an unexpected overnight with Hudson last night which was fun!  Went to dinner with friends, came home and watched a movie and stayed up way too late :)  But such fun!  Today is getting a bit of prep done for my son's birthday dinner tomorrow night.  And this afternoon a big graduation party for a special friend!  Lots of weekend fun!

The card - flowers (from Altenew) are stamped, die cut and popped up.  (I used the Stamparatus for the flowers and leaves since there is several layers of stamping)  Background has an added strip of patterned paper with a border of black.  

Since the temps are supposed to jump back up to the 80's I think it's time to dig out the short sleeve shirts and the flip flops.  Also need to mow the lawn.  Sounds like enough to keep me busy today!

The card - I die cut an oval out of the top white panel and then attached it to the dark purple mat.  The tulips are stamped on a smaller oval and attached to the inside of the frame.  

Errands this morning and then I'm hoping to get back to work on this months card class projects.  That's about it for today!
