The card - samped image is from Unity. Printed paper is 7 Gypsies. Colors are vanilla, black and kraft.

Since I got my project for Shoebox done yesterday I think I am going to have a 'stamping for fun' day! I'm sure there's things that need to be done, but I am feeling the need to do something just for the heck of it - so.....that's the plan for today!

The card - stamped images are from Papertrey. Colors are pumpkin, espresso, olive - card is kraft.

I need to spend some time in my stamp room today - we have Shoebox Club tomorrow night and I don't have my project done yet! I need to come up with a calendar topper for September - shouldn't be too difficult, right? Class tonight.

Have a great day!

Tuesday, November 9, 2010

The card - stamped images are from SU. I masked off the center strip and sponged with daffodil and peach. Bottom part is embossed with SU embossing folder.

Need to get things cleaned up and organized for class this morning. Good day for staying in since it's raining and cold - maybe I can get some stamping done this afternoon. Class again tonight.

Have a wonderful day!

Monday, November 8, 2010

The card - used an old flower stamp I found in my drawer for this one. Sentiment is from A Muse. Colors are kraft, riding hood red and espresso.

Need to finish cutting and bagging class kits today. It looks like we will be seeing the end of our gorgeous fall weather - the forecast says rain and snow this week. Ugh! Guess it will be a good time to be indoors - and I have plenty of indoor stuff to keep me busy the next few weeks.

Have a wonderful day!

Scrappin' Sunday - a layout with pictures from Grand Mesa. The background is a layout we did in class.

Had a great time at Dorene's CTMH event yesterday - got some great ideas for card layouts! Thanks, Dorene! Today is 'cut and bag' day - have to get the class projects ready for classes that start this week.

Photo Saturday - down at the river - liked this shot with Grand Mesa showing in the background.

Off to a Close To My Heart event this morning - should be fun! Need to figure out just what stamp set(s) I need/want/just have to have!

Have a great day!

The card - image is from Stampendous - stamped with versamark, embossed with white. Sentiment is from Papertrey. Colors are vanilla and dusty durango. Super simple.

I finally made some progress on my class projects yesterday - whew! Still have a bit more to do this morning, but hopefully the rest will go smoothly now! Had a great time at Stamp Club with Sherry last night - great bunch of girls and lots of laughs - and the projects were awesome as always - thanks Sherry! A little more work on projects this morning, a little outside work this afternoon and then stamping with Deb & Sherry tonight - life is good!

The card - stamped images and printed paper are from SU. Colors are kraft, espresso and vanilla.

I am beginning to panic just a wee bit - for some reason my class projects are just not coming together. Oh no! Maybe it's because it's hard to think 'Christmas' when the sun's shining and the temps are close to 70. Whatever the reason, I'm having a heck of a time getting my projects done. So......back to work with hopes that today will be the day it all comes together.

Have a fabulous day!

The card - stamped images are from Papertrey. Colors are peach, kraft, vanilla and espresso.

I ended up doing errands yesterday, so I didn't get very far on my class projects. Shame! Back to work on that this morning and maybe a little yard work this afternoon. I have a bit of fall clean-up stuff that needs to be done before winter comes.

Have a wonderful day!

Tuesday, November 2, 2010

The card - stamps are from SU - colors are cajun, olive, mustard, plum & vanilla.

Working on class projects today. It's time to have them done and I haven't made much progress - hopefully I will have a 'creative day'!

HAPPY

HALLOWEEN!

Photo Saturday - a little fall scenery from just outside Dayton, Ohio. I was taking pictures out the car window on the freeway, not the best way to get the shots you really want. But, I got a couple that weren't too bad :)

My room is pretty much back together now. The stamps are in some sort of order and we'll see how it works on a daily basis. Looking forward to an afternoon of stamping with Judy S!

The card - medallion is from Day of Graditude (SU). Because I don't have this stamp set I printed this on vanilla card stock on the computer using MDS from SU and then cut it out. The sentiment is from Papertrey. Colors are vanilla and pear. The piece at the top is embossed with a quickutz embossing folder.

I got a little carried away with my cleaning up efforts yesterday - I ended up trying to sort and re-arrange a lot of stamp sets. Now I think I have a bigger mess than what I started with. I've pretty much decided that 1) I'm too anal 2) I have way too many stamps and 3) there's just no way to effectively arrange a lot of different sizes and shapes of clear stamps! So today I will try to get the mess straightened back up and hopefully I will be able to find everything I've moved to a different place!

Have a wonderful day!

Thursday, October 28, 2010

The card - leaf is from SU, sentiment from A Muse. I inked the leaf with cajun, then sponged a bit of espresso on the edges before stamping. I used a leaf wheel (SU) on the strips. Colors are espresso, kraft, and cajun - ribbon is mustard.

I'm feeling the need to get my room cleaned up a bit before moving on to more projects. Can't seem to find anything and there's stuff everywhere. So, I'll get things reoragnized and then it's back to work on class projects.

Have a great day!

Wednesday, October 27, 2010

The card - stamped images are from Unity. Patterned paper is from Basic Grey. Colors are espresso, kraft and cajun. Twine is from Papertrey.

Time to get class projects done so that's what I'm going to work on today.

The card - dug out an old pumpkin stamp for this one (I have no idea what company it's from), sentiment is Inkadinkado. Colored strips are chocolate, cajun, pumpkin and peach. The strip with the pumpkins is popped up.

A make-up card class this morning and then class again tonight. Breakfast with Judy S and Diane before class this morning - yea! That's a treat for me - I love going out for breakfast and it's something I rarely do.

Happy stampin'

Monday, October 25, 2010

The card - another 'guy card'. Sponged the top part with pumpkin and curry. Colored the grass with a copic marker. Trees are stamped in black. Background is quickutz embossing folder.

I have a whole list of things to get done this week so I guess I should get started. (I might have to add 'building an ark' to my list if it keeps raining for many more days!)

Have a wonderful day!

Sunday, October 24, 2010

Scrappin' Sunday - pictures from our drive over Grand Mesa. Background is a layout we did in class - just had to add the photos.

Looking forward to a day of stamping - Judy S is coming over this afternoon so that will be fun! (and maybe I can actually get something accomplished instead of just talking about it!!)

Have a wonderful day!

Saturday, October 23, 2010

Photo Saturday - stopped down by the river the other day when I was out doing errands. A little surprised that the colors haven't changed as much as I thought they would have by now. But still got some nice photos of the area.

Catching up today - need to get some things finished and then it's time to get to work on class projects.

Have a great day!
