Project Sunday - this has been my 'project' for this week. 

This first picture is what the garage looked like after Jeff took some of the old cabinets out and before it was painted.

While I was having fun stitching at Laura's yesterday, Jeff was working away at the house in town.  There's a new top on that counter, knobs on the doors, and he put those new storage cabinets together.  The new cabinets will be storage for all the 'extra' class and stamping supplies.  (I may have to get a couple more of those!)

Today I will be going in to hose down the floor and then I will be able to start moving some misc stuff that can be put in here until I get the inside of the house finished.

The painter is finished with the garage - now I just have to do a little cleaning up and some finishing touches (handles for the cabinets, new outlet covers, etc.).  That's the job for today.

My realtor has told me that the sale of this house is pretty much a done deal at this point and that I should go ahead and start packing.  Oh my.  I'm not sure I'm ready for this to be 'real' just yet.  I think life is going to be quite interesting in the coming days/weeks.  I'm meeting the painter at the house in town this morning.  He's going to start on the garage, which means that as soon as he is done with that I can start moving some of the small, miscellaneous stuff.  Feeling a bit overwhelmed this morning :)

The card - just a few leaves stamped in fall colors. The card is kraft and the front panel is popped up.  I stamped the leaves and then used a fine marker to draw the line around the edge.

Yesterday ended up being a totally 'do nothing' day.  I couldn't seem to work up enough energy to get anything accomplished.  It rained most of the afternoon so I stayed in and mostly was just down right lazy.  Now it's time to get the chores done that I didn't get done yesterday.

I had originally planned on doing a little yard work this morning, but.....it hasn't rained for several days so I think I better water the lawn instead.  I can put the yard work off until next week.  Looking forward to an afternoon of stamping with Judy.  It's been too long since we had a 'stamping day'.

Fall is in the air - it's downright chilly out there this morning.  I got the class projects finished - woo hoo!  Now I just need to get them cut and bagged and I will be good to go!  I'll work on that this morning and then clean up the table so Emily and I have space to stitch tonight.  I haven't gotten any stitching done all week so I'm looking forward to tonight.

Gosh, I woke up this morning and realized I had no plans for the day.  How did that happen?  I guess I was concentrating so hard on getting through the inspection yesterday that I hadn't really thought beyond that.  Turns out that was only one of three that the buyers want done.  Now I have to wait for an electrician and a plumber to give their approval too!  More waiting.......

Project Sunday - this is a small table mat I did for a sample for Laura.

Have to say a BIG thank you to Sue, Eileen, Kellie and Tamara for all the work they did yesterday.  Instead of spending the day working on something fun they spent the entire day helping me clean out a couple of closets that were overloaded with stuff.  And then they ended up taking a good deal of it home with them - oh yay!!!!!!  They were awesome and I couldn't have gotten all that accomplished without them!  Thanks ladies!!!!!
