I'm going to try my hand at putting a piece of furniture together today.  I ordered a potting bench to put on my patio and it came yesterday ....naturally, Jeff is out of town at the moment so..........  we'll see how it goes.

I had thought I'd be able to get started on some yard work today - hmmmm....not to be I guess.  It was still raining until early this morning so everything is way too wet and muddy.   Guess I'll have to wait a day or two.  No idea what I'll do in the mean time - maybe I'll get some more stitching done :)

Project Sunday - the March  'Project of the Month' finished  (sorry about the not so great picture )

It's still raining, (it started yesterday) so I think it's going to be a good day to stay inside and finish up some stitching and maybe read a book or watch a movie!

Today I'm off to all day Open Sew at Hi Fashion.  It means most people will be sewing away on sewing machines, but I will be stitching away on some wool applique.  Works for me :)

The card - this is a quick and super easy one.  I used an embossing folder with flowers on it, added a sentiment, some prima flowers and a little bling.  Easy and quick!

Since I spent all day yesterday running around doing errands and looking for stuff for the yard I guess I better stay home today and get some other things accomplished.  I need to get some stitching stuff put together for an event I'm going to tomorrow,  Looking forward to Friday night crafting tonight!

The card - I used the balloon die cut and then embossed the die cuts with a dotted embossing folder.  Added the sentiment and some ribbon and drew the balloon strings with a black pen.  Pretty darn easy!

Not sure what I'm doing today.  Have some yard work to do if the weather cooperates (that means the wind needs to stop blowing), still have stitching projects to finish for Laura and I need to start thinking about shopping for pots and dirt and other yard stuff.   Hmmm.....plenty to do, guess we'll see what I'm in the mood for :)

The card - the flowers are a stamp/punch from SU.  The are stamped in lagoon and popped up on the front panel.  I stamped them twice and cut out the centers, popped the center up and added some bling.

Project Sunday - here is the 'masterpiece' (hehe) I created last night.  My friends, Eileen and Sue, and I went to a place in town called The Palette.  It was great fun and I had a wonderful time!

Home Sweet Home.  I had an awesome time visiting my daughter Tracy and my friend Sherry, but it's good to be home.  I think I'm just going to take today to regroup - unpack, do a little laundry, etc.  Looking forward to Friday night crafting!

The card - more fun with the balloon die cut.  I drew the string with a pen and added a bow with some black string.  The strips of punched paper actually matched the printed paper on the balloon much better in real life :)

Taking Tracy to her Dr's appointment this morning.  We have to pick Tony up at the airport later today and then we'll go out to dinner.  My last day here.....boo hoo!  The week has gone by way too fast!

Misc Sunday - just a small part of the wool shop we went to yesterday.  It was in a very big, very old house and the owner was ever so nice - she even gave me a tour of the business side of the house (they live in half of it).  They not only do retail, but they have a wholesale side too.  The shop was really awesome and they had the best selection of homespun material I have ever seen (this is a material I like to use for the back of my projects and it's hard to find!!)  Great day!

Today I think we're staying at home and taking a break from shopping and such.

Photo Saturday - The Life is Good store in Dayton, Ohio.  Oh my.....it was awesome!  AND, there was a Brighton store in the same shopping area - dangerous place, but a very good shopping day!
