The card - I die cut an oval from the center of a panel and then embossed it. I stamped some 'stripes' with a grunge stamp on the front of the card and then popped up the panel over the top. Added some flowers and a couple of leaves and a sentiment.
'Grandma time' today, Friday night crafting tonight. All is good!

The card - the sentiment stamp is from Papertrey Ink. I stamped and then embossed it with white and then stamped the background over it. I used a grunge stamp and spritzed it with water before stamping to get more of a watercolor look.
Had a great group of ladies here last night for a Thirty-One get together. Lots of laughter - it was fun! Now this morning I need to get the house straightened up and then I will be off for an afternoon of stitching at Inspirations. Then a friend is coming over tonight for some more stitching - yay! I should get lots accomplished today!

For tonilea - aww...thank you so much for the comment yesterday! I am glad I can be an inspiration to you - how sweet you are! A little explanation for you - Grand Junction is in the western part of Colorado, very close to the Utah border. I love it! And, yes I always look forward to having my Grandson - I'm probably a bit more attached because he was born just a few months after my daughter passed away suddenly. He has been my life-line the past two years. (well, along with his Dad, my son) Life is precious and I try to make the most of it 😊 Today would have been my daughter's 43rd birthday. I miss her a lot!

The card - flowers are from SU, sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. I stamped the flowers on the smoky slate card with smoky slate ink. The flower on the white panel is also stamped with smoky slate. Just kind of a subtle look.

I have to travel to Hotchkiss today for a 31 Party. It's about an hour away, so I need to get my car loaded up be on the road soon. It will be fun.

The card - a new embossing folder on the background (from Cuttlebug) and the tulip is a new set I just got from Papertrey Ink. A simple enough card, but I do like it! (that background is kraft, looks darker in the scan!)
A pretty easy day today - have a few errands to do and then get ready for class tonight. I have an out of town 31 Party tomorrow, so I do need to get my stuff organized for that!

'Grandma time' today - Hudson turns 2 today. I cannot believe it has been 2 years - have loved every minute! Not sure what the plan is for the day, but family dinner tonight and I still have to make the cake & icecream - I better get to it!

Project Sunday - finished this piece a couple weeks ago. I think I want to put it in a frame so I have to look for one the right size. (my rule is to buy the frame first - duh....forgot!)
